With up to 50W per channel or 100W on one channel, for faster charging with the ability to charge batteries on the integrated IC3® or IC5® (EX3/EC5 compatible) output ports, the Spektrum™ Smart S250 2x50W charger provides versatile and hassle-free charging. The S250 charger works with virtually any RC battery and is backward compatible with EC3™ and EC5™ connectors. Use it together with the Smart G1 or G2 batteries and you will be amazed by its incredible functionality and performance.
With the S250 Smart AC charger, charging SMART batteries is the easiest, after connecting the charging cable, the Auto Charge function recognizes the parameters of your SMART battery, ensures the charging settings, and automatically starts safe and correct charging. The clock on the charger display counts down the time until your Smart Battery is fully charged and ready for use.
Balancing the Smart G2 battery cells is just as simple. The S250 charger will align the cells in your Smart G2 LiPo battery via a single data cable that is part of the IC connection used for charging. Smart batteries no longer have a separate balancer cable.
The user interface of the S250 Smart AC charger includes new, intuitive menus, icons and navigation tools. A clear and understandable indication of the history and performance of the Smart battery provides information that you can use to make better decisions about your batteries when preparing for a flight or drive.
The USB-C port is used exclusively for firmware updates so you always have the latest version. The S250 Smart AC Charger also includes a cooling fan, a detachable power cord, and a sleek case that fits perfectly on your desk or in your bag.
The Spektrum™ S250 Smart AC Charger features IC3® and IC5® output connectors. Use the slider above the connectors to select the IC3® or IC5® connector and then you can instantly charge your battery with up to 8A current with up to 50W on each channel or 100W on one channel for fast charging. You can charge and balance Smart G2 batteries with just one connection to the IC3® or IC5® connector. No need for a cable with a balancer connector!
To provide the best overview of the menu, the S250 Smart AC charger features a color LCD display with a pleasant user interface with improved menus, icons and navigation tools. For maximum safety, simplicity and ease of charging, the new automatic charging function recognizes the SMART battery charging parameters, as soon as you connect the battery, the charger will automatically start the correct charging.
The display of the S250 Smart AC charger counts down the hours and minutes in real time until the SMART battery is fully charged, so you can know when your battery will be ready for use.
The S250 Smart AC charger handles up to 4S LiPo, LiFe, Li-Ion or LiHV batteries, as well as 1-12S NiMH and NiCd packs (use Smart batteries to take full advantage of the charger's features). Its elegant and robust box fits easily on your desk. The power cord is detachable for easy storage and transport.
