SCX10™ III chassis

The model is equipped with a chassis reinforced with C-shaped steel profiles, which are connected by transverse reinforcements. This increases the overall stiffness of the model, minimizing bending and twisting. This achieves precise steering, which is important for overcoming obstacles in trial rides.

AR45 portal axles

The included AR45 portal axles provide increased ground clearance for better cross-country ability. In addition, the gearbox in the portals increases the torque.

LCXU single-speed gearbox

A new single-speed LCXU transmission with metal gears and a low center of gravity was made for the model. It is completely equipped with ball bearings, ensuring smooth operation and a long service life. The internal gears can be switched to use a wheelbase tuning conversion kit.

Stylish body with accessories

The pick-up's detailed polycarbonate body gives it an exciting, modern look - highlighted by numerous scale accessories. Also included are officially licensed DeMello Off-road bumpers with a high leading edge.

Side skirts

Durable side skirts improve both looks and performance by not only protecting the body and chassis, but helping the Base Camp slide over obstacles.

Optimized geometry

The front suspension geometry of the SCX10 ™ III Base Camp 4WD Rock Crawler is optimized to limit the "Bump steer" effect, i.e. turning the axle when crossing obstacles. While the rear 4-link suspension minimizes twisting caused by torque during acceleration.

Oil dampers

The aluminum shock absorbers are filled with oil for authentic performance and handling like a real car. Spring preload can be easily adjusted using a nut on the body. For better performance, the shock absorbers are larger, or with a higher oil volume.

Receiver box

The closed receiver box protects the Spektrum SR515 DSMR 5-channel receiver from dirt and splashing water.

RHINO wheels

Rhino mock-up black discs are officially licensed. Discs are one-piece with an imitation Beadlock ring.

Falken Wildpeak tires

4.7" tall Falken Wildpeak tires from the R35 compound, size 116x47mm, provide a higher ground clearance and more grip on dirt, rocks and other off-road trails.

Motor and controller

The propulsion system consists of a new Axial Slickrock 35T DC motor and a waterproof* Spektrum 40A controller. Spend more time on the trails and less time doing maintenance with this simple and reliable combo.

3 channel RC kit

RC kit with SLT3 transmitter and SR515 receiver provides reliable control in the 2.4 Ghz band. All basic functions can be set on the transmitter: throttle trim and steering, max. steering channel deflection, reverse, engine power limiter 50%, 75% and 100%. The free third channel hides the potential for upgrades, such as addition and control of lights, winch, etc. The receiver can also be used with Spektrum universal display and multi-channel transmitters such as the Spektrum DX6C, DX6 Rugged, DX5 Pro or iXSR.

Recommended LiPo batteries

For normal riding, we recommend a 2 or 3-cell LiPo battery (7.4 V, 11.1 V), with an EC3, IC3 connector.

Function Dig

With the help of the conversion kit, the gearbox of the model can be supplemented with the Dig function. This feature locks the rear axle while allowing the front wheels to pull the car, while the rear tires turn into a pivot point around which the model can turn in a small space. In addition to the conversion kit, assembly also requires the addition of a micro servo for control.

Transport bag

Transport the RC model comfortably and safely in the Robitronic transport bag. The bag is waterproof and has an elasticated edge that can be adjusted to the model. Thanks to the Velcro strap, the model is easy to carry. The synthetic material can be easily cleaned with water or soap suds if necessary.

Lighting models

For a breathtaking appearance, we recommend equipping the model with LED lighting. If the model already contains basic lighting, you can expand, improve or modify it according to your own needs.

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of the RC car, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.

Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer.

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases.

For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, worm gear in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
