Characteristics
The legendary American fighter Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt also known as Warthog in processing from E-flite as an Ultra micro RC model for remote control. The A-10 is powered by two micro 6-blade 30mm blowers, has a Spektrum receiver installed with state-of-the-art 2.4 GHz DSMX® and Safe Select technology and linear digital servos. LiPol battery 2S - 3S 450mAh - 850mAh is recommended. The A-10 has a kite reinforced with carbon elements and a powerful drive, compatible with 2S and 3S LiPol batteries with a JST connector. The model is equipped with the exclusive Spektrum ™ AS3X® technology and the optional SAFE® Select flight envelope protection technology. In addition, it provides real-time battery voltage telemetry to compatible transmitters, making flying easier and easier to operate than ever before.
With the included fixed landing gear with steerable bow wheel, you will taxi, take off and land on paved, level surfaces or leave the landing gear removed and achieve higher speed and vertical performance with an easy take-off from the hand and land on the grass after the flight. With the A-10 Thunderbolt II Twin 30mm EDF you can fly your first mission immediately after charging the battery.
Serial production of A-10 aircraft began in October 1975, since 2005 the production of an innovated version of A-10C. The first deployment of A-10 aircraft took place in 1991 during Operation Desert Storm in Iraq, when A-10 aircraft destroyed 987 tanks, 926 artillery batteries, 501 armored personnel carriers, 72 bunkers and many other ground targets. Furthermore, the A-10 participated in all conflicts in which the US Air Force participated.

RC model E-flite A-10 has a span of 562 mm, is made of light foam material, in the model nacelles on the fuselage are located blowers with 6-blade rotors with a diameter of 28 mm and AC motors 8888 rpm / V. The model is designed to be powered by a 3-cell LiPol battery, with which it has unrivaled speed and high vertical performance.

The precisely shaped and effectively reinforced kite of the model has a fuselage and the front part reinforced with carbon fibers. The result is a more durable model that looks great and is still lightweight to provide the best possible flight experience!
Variable chassis
You can use the supplied fixed landing gear with a steerable front wheel to taxi, take off and land on a smooth surface. Or you can take off without a chassis to achieve higher speed and vertical performance and an easy start from the hand and land on the grass.

Exclusive technology
The UMX-A-10 is equipped with exclusive Spectrum-AS3X®, SAFE® Select and telemetry technologies. Electronic stabilization AS3X works behind the scenes and eliminates the effects of wind and turbulence and ensures the feeling that you are flying a much larger aircraft. The optional use of SAFE Select offers tilt and tilt limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off by simply flipping the switch. It will also provide real-time battery voltage and other telemetry data to transmitters equipped with Spektrum's latest firmware with the AirWare menu (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2 / G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others).
The advanced AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization - 3-AXIS) system built into the Ultra Spectrum Ultra micro receiver helps the A-10 to fly straight even in turbulence. A completely new flight experience, thanks to the latest technology that can guide the model like a cord. Even in mild winds, the flight is stable and orderly. The AS3X system is an electronic system that helps stabilize flight. Micro aircraft models are very sensitive to very small gusts of wind due to very light weight and inertia, based on information from the gyroscope, the microprocessor constantly maintains the position of the aircraft with ailerons, rudder and elevator in the same orientation until you instruct the transmitter to change position model.
Model details
The mock-up look with a number of details together with the cabin equipment is completely authentic. Cabin with clear plastic with a pilot's head, machine gun model, cladding, inscriptions, matriculation. The E-flite A-10 has an astonishing power of the power unit, it can be started and landed on a landing gear with a steerable front wheel or the landing gear can be removed and started from the hand, landed on the grass. All functions are controlled proportionally, the rudder has both rudders controlled.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a case for storing LiPol batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) and a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 washer will certainly be suitable for assembly.
For quick repair of aircraft models, we recommend a fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy adhesive. From our offer we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective covers for batteries
Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is prone to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
