Characteristics
RC model of a motorized Milan glider with a span of 1.94m ARF. The light thermal model made of balsa and plywood is designed to be driven by an electric motor. Finished coated parts of the model speed up assembly. Sophisticated construction with a 3-piece wing and removable tail surfaces.
RC model Milan is a thermal all-wood motorized glider class 2m. It allows flying with ailerons and flaps, is easy to control and in the hands of a more experienced pilot you can enjoy a lot of fun with the model. The rudder, elevator, ailerons and engine, or flaps are controlled. An intuitive image manual guides you through building the model and installing the electronics. The kit does not contain an RC kit, electronics or drive, these components need to be added to the model.
Properties
- Classic ARF kit
- Suitable for flying in thermals or on a slope
- Precise laser cut parts from plywood and balsa
- Coated with transparent Oralight foil
- Small mounting accessories in the package
Wing assembly
The wing consists of 3 parts, a centerplane and ears. The centerplane is attached to the fuselage with a screw, the ears are placed on the couplings.
Mounting servos in the wing
The aileron and flap servos are housed inside the wing under the cover. The servo lever is above the underside of the wing profile and is connected by a rod to the rudder lever.
Assembly of wing parts
When assembling the ears, the connecting rod is slid into the centerplane, the aileron servo connectors are connected and the parts are slid onto the pin. The ears are held by magnets near the centerplane.
Assembly of tail surfaces
A well thought out design allows for quick assembly of the model. The tail surfaces are bolted to the fuselage and can be removed from the fuselage if necessary, so there is no risk of damage during transport.
To build a model you need:
