Characteristics
The RC model of the Blade 330 S helicopter is an aerobatic helicopter for slightly advanced and more demanding pilots. It pushes the boundaries of the school model and with advanced Blade SAFE® Helicopter firmware, it has great SAFE stability and super aerobatic performance.
The Blade 330 S has a proven modern robust design that uses a brand new Spektrum FC6250HX control unit, a Serial Receiver (SPM4651T), a Spektrum Avian 30A controller, a powerful 4200Kv AC motor and Spektrum™ H3050 and H3060 metal gear digital servos. Carbon main rotor blades will give the model great handling and quick response. Blade offers a finely tuned helicopter with innovative SAFE® technology.
When flying with the attached DXS transmitter set, or another Spektrum G2 transmitter, you will have basic telemetry available in the form of the model's battery charge level. If you want to have the Panic function activated (comparison to horizontal flight), it is necessary to set the free switch or button to the 7th channel. You must therefore use min. 7-channel transmitter.

SAFE technology
The innovative SAFE technology provides a high degree of confidence in the protection of the flight envelope, and during flight it can facilitate piloting with the help of electronic stabilization for pilots who have not yet reached the level of aerobatic piloting. Stability and 3D flight modes are available, which will allow gradual learning from intermediate to advanced maneuvers.
Progressive flight modes
- Stability mode - the tilt angle is limited, after releasing the cyclic lever, the model is leveled to hang
- Intermediate mode - tilt angle is not limited, basic acrobatics can be performed
- Agility mode - tilt angle is not limited, advanced acrobatics can be performed
Panic function
If you get into an emergency while flying in any mode, activate the Panic function and move the control levers to the neutral position (including the cyclic lever). If the model is at a sufficient height, the SAFE technology immediately returns the model to a horizontal position.
Digital servos
The flywheel servos are digital with Spektrum™ H3055 metal gears with a speed of 0.053s/60° at 6V and a torque of 2.5kg.cm and a Spektrum™ H3065 tail rotor servo with a speed of 0.029s/60° at 6V.
Main rotor mechanics
The consistent purposefulness of the construction is obvious, solid steel shaft, aluminum elements for high rigidity and the use of strength plastics for the lowest possible weight, precise control and solid blade holders, all elements in ball bearings, precision processing. Easy to replace if damaged.

Composite model skeleton
The frame of the Blade 330S consists of a composite 2-part molding on which all the electronics and drive components are installed. The tail pipe is aluminum with a black finish, the drive to the balancing rotor is a belt. The model has a freewheel rotor for the possibility of autorotation.
AC motor
The Blade 330S is powered by a powerful 440X Brushless Outrunner, 4200Kv (EFLM1360HA) high-speed AC motor. The pinion has bevel teeth, the motor is fixed between the sides on an aluminum motor bed.
Control unit
The Spektrum FC6250HX control unit, which contains the necessary SAFE and AS3X technology control software, is attached to the damping moss pad.
Spektrum ™ DXS transmitter
The included seven-channel Spektrum ™ DXS transmitter provides full-range control, proven ergonomics, safe, interference-free transmission, and an LED battery charge indicator in the model.
We recommend to buy
For commissioning, it is necessary to top up the drive battery and charger. Individual components can be purchased separately or as a complete battery pack with a Spektrum Smart Powerstage G2 Air 2 USB charger.

To power the model, you need an 11.1 V LiPo drive battery with a capacity of 2200 mAh with an IC3 or EC3 connector.

Blade maintenance accessories
For the normal operation of flying RC helicopter models, you need a suitable set of tools and a LiPol battery storage case. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will surely come in handy for assembly.
Quick fix adhesives
For quick repair of z helicopter models, we recommend fast curing second adhesives. From our offer, we recommend Robitronic instant glue medium 20ml or Roket Cyano Gel gel instant glue 20ml.
Preparations for securing screws
To secure the screws against loosening, we recommend Robitronic screw glue blue 10ml.
Gear lubrication preparations
For gentle gear lubrication, we recommend the Modelcraft precision oiler with Teflon oil 7.5ml.
Protection of electronics
NANOPROTECH ELECTRIC 75ml can be recommended for gentle gear lubrication.
Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
