The package includes an RC model of the Conscendo Evolution electric glider with an installed 3226-970Kv AC motor, 30A AC regulator, tilting propeller, SA381 servos, Spektrum ™ AR637TA receiver with SAFE function and telemetry. Instructions for use in Czech, transmitter, battery and charger are not included in the package.
Characteristics
The RC model of the glider with an auxiliary motor for remote control, Conscendo Evolution Basic with a wing span of 1.5 m, is great for beginners and advanced pilots. It is equipped with new electronics such as an AC motor, controller, receiver with optional SAFE function and telemetry and servos. the model has a split wing with a carbon coupling. The BNF version requires the addition of a Spektrum transmitter and a LiPol 3-4S battery.
When the Conscendo® model was first introduced, it was aimed primarily at novice pilots who wanted to learn to fly a powered glider. Later, the "Advanced" version was offered for the more advanced, which offered more power for fast climb, sport flying and acrobatics, which became popular with intermediate and experienced pilots. The new E-flite® Conscendo Evolution 1.5m now has a modified design for the most powerful and fun flying with the Conscendo model! The stronger and stiffer kite was made of higher density EPO and has a more powerful power unit installed, compatible with LiPol 3S and 4S batteries. The controller with integrated telemetry offers up-to-date flight data when using a compatible Spektrum transmitter.
The concept of the Coscendo Evolution glider model is completely subject to the requirement for a model that has excellent flight characteristics and modern electronics that can help the pilot in the beginning but can also do much more for advanced flying, all in one. Therefore, the SAFE Select Function is available, which can be optionally activated and provide flight envelope protection to the model. After mastering safe flight, this function can be deactivated and fly without assistance. More advanced pilots can be offered higher performance when using a LiPol 4S battery and fly at higher speeds or advanced acrobatics with a higher dose of adrenaline. The constant presence of electronic stabilization AS3X allows flying even in more demanding flight conditions.
AS3X ™ stabilization
The Spektrum AR636A receiver is equipped with AS3X technology, which helps stabilize the model in flight. The receiver contains a triaxial MEMS gyro and an accelerometer, and thanks to electronic stabilization, the control of the model is simplified, eg in windy weather. The model reacts similarly to a much larger model and its flight is calm without maintaining its full controllability. AS3X brings more driving confidence.
SAFE Select technology ™ for beginners
Thanks to the SAFE Select technology used, even a less experienced pilot can control the model . The SAFE system prevents the incline from being exceeded when cornering and also limits ascents and descents. By simply releasing the control levers of the controller, the model returns to horizontal flight. These features will be especially appreciated by novice pilots who are not yet fully confident in driving models.
As the name SAFE Select suggests, this is an optional feature - it's up to you whether you want to use or disable SAFE technology. The pairing method sets whether the SAFE function is to be switched on or off. It is also possible to turn the SAFE function on or off using the free channel of the transmitter.
Advantages of the SAFE Select ™ function:
- It limits the maximum inclinations of the model and thus prevents the model from moving into the corkscrew.
- Automatically puts the model into horizontal flight when the transmitter control levers are released
- Using the free channel, the SAFE system can be switched on or off during flight
More options
The Conscendo Evolution model is made of EPO material with a higher density, so the construction of the kite is much stiffer and stronger and has a smoother surface. In combination with carbon and other reinforcements in the fuselage, wing and tail surfaces, Conscendo® Evolution can handle higher speed and higher energy potential of the propulsion during acrobatics. Nevertheless, the model is still light and offers excellent flight performance and long flight time
Model drive
The model is powered by a 3226-970Kv Brushless Outrunner AC motor with a tilting propeller and a 30A regulator. LiPol battery 3S - 4S 1200mAh - 2200mAh is recommended for power supply. The controller is equipped with a brake that ensures that the propeller blades are folded along the fuselage and thus reduces air resistance during gliding.
Telemetry options
Conscendo® Evolution 1.5m is equipped with a controller that provides a range of real-time propulsion system-related telemetry data, including motor speed, current, battery voltage and more, via a compatible AR637TA receiver installed in the BNF® Basic version and a compatible transmitter equipped with Spectrum ™ AirWare technology (DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2 / G3 and 8 G2, DX9, iX12, iX20 and others).
Build
After unpacking, you only need to slide half of the elevator on the coupling and assemble and fasten the wing to the fuselage and replenish your propulsion LiPol battery. Follow the instructions to make the basic settings for the transmitter and pair the receiver with your transmitter.
Bind-N-Fly
The Conscendo Evolution motor glider is available in the Bind-N-Fly® Basic version, so for commissioning it is enough to add a Spektrum DSM2 / DSMX aircraft transmitter and a propellant LiPol battery.
