With the Arrma Mojave Grom 223S BLX RC model car, thanks to its small size in 1:18 scale and powerful AC motor, you can enjoy a lot of fun indoors and outdoors at an affordable price. The durability, performance of the BLX and precise model processing are unique to the Arrma brand, and this model retains all the important features, including 4x4 drive and a high speed of up to 56 km/h . Upgrades are installed at the factory so that the model can easily handle the performance of the newly installed AC motor. The RC car is intended for children, adults, beginners and experienced drivers, who will receive a fully inflated ready-to-use model.
Since the AC drive is rated for 2-3S LiPo, you can start with a 2S LiPo battery (sold separately) and as your driving skills improve, you can add a 3S LiPo battery (sold separately) to the model and increase power and speed up to an extreme 80 km/h. In order for the model to handle even such a power increase without a problem, upgrades such as all-metal gear differentials, steel half-axles, aluminum oil shock absorbers and aluminum steering linkages are already installed from the factory.
The Mojave Grom 223S BLX RC car model has a special DSC electronic driving stabilization function included in the control unit, which automatically makes steering corrections for smooth driving in skids, easier driving at higher speeds and on less sticky surfaces. DSC stabilization includes 4 modes, including the option to turn it off. Another function is the possibility of limiting the gas to 75% or 50%, so the model is also suitable for complete beginners.
The car is perfectly prepared for demanding driving, it contains a strong composite chassis with independent suspension, oil shock absorbers and 4WD drive. Rugged metal differential gears transfer power from the AC motor through the enclosed drive train to the dBoots Fortress wheels and tires. Even the Spektrum™ SX110 servo has metal gears and, like the 2-in-1 25A control unit, equipped with an IC2® connector, it is waterproof* for driving in wet environments. An integrated high-speed cooling fan keeps motor and controller temperatures low for long life and peak performance.
In addition to its excellent driving characteristics, the model will also amaze you with its mock-up bodywork in the style of the legendary Baja desert racers. The body has a clipless attachment for easy assembly and disassembly , for turning on the model and charging the battery. Among other smaller car models, it stands out with power, versatility, great handling and the capabilities you need to impress others with your driving.
The Arrma Mojave Grom 223S BLX is a performance all-round model and can gradually grow with your driving skills. For starters, you can run the model on a 2S LiPo battery and limit the gas output by 50%. Later you can increase the throttle to 75% and 100% and even connect a 3S LiPo battery to the model and reach a speed of up to 80 km/h.
An exclusive feature, especially for new drivers, is the dynamic ride stabilization included in the Spektrum control unit. It uses integrated sensors to make steering corrections for easier driving. The intensity of stabilization can be conveniently changed using the transmitter in four modes, from off to a high degree of assistance.
For durability and increased performance, the model has factory-installed upgrades - full-metal gear differentials (ARA311193), steel half-axles (ARA311198), aluminum oil shock absorbers (ARA330824) and aluminum adjustable steering linkages (ARA340208). Despite the mentioned improvements, however, the model maintains a favorable price.

Right out of the box, you will be dazzled by the shape of the model and the body with driver and navigator figures, professionally finished from the factory and in striking color variants, which capture the unmistakable appearance of real desert racing cars MOJAVE DESERT TRUCK. The tires are mounted on color-matched wheels.
The body is easily, quickly and securely snapped onto the chassis. The new one is without clips, which would have to be inserted into the holes and would damage the body during operation. This is a fastening system that can be easily mastered by all age groups. The drivetrain transfers power to durable dBoots Fortress wheels and tires. As with the large model, a proven compound and tire pattern is used here.
In the central part of the chassis is the center shaft that connects the front and rear differential. It has a direct drive from an AC motor using a pinion and main gear. At the end of the central shaft are the metal bevel gears for the differentials. The entire drivetrain is well protected for reliable performance even in challenging terrain.
For reliable steering, Spektrum™ SX110 servo steering is installed with metal gears, which will ensure high resistance even in the event of an impact.
On the right side of the chassis is the drive unit, consisting of a Firma 2838 4500Kv engine with a massive radiator and an integrated 25A regulator with a receiver. A fan is now placed between the components for even more efficient cooling.
For brutal driving over obstacles, jumps and large bumps, the model is equipped with high-quality shock absorbers with durable aluminum bodies and filled with oil, which prevents vibration on bumps.
The Spektrum SLT2 2-Channel Transmitter is the perfect size for all drivers. It can help you learn to control the model safely by limiting the model's maximum speed to 50% or 75% until you are ready for full power. The package includes 4 AA batteries for the transmitter.

To operate the model, it is necessary to add a battery and a suitable charger. For normal driving and speeds up to 56 km/h, we recommend a 2S LiPo battery with an IC2 connector. For higher performance and speeds of up to 80 km/h, we recommend a 3S LiPo battery.
The model can be powered by a LiPo battery with two (7.4 V) or three cells (11.1 V).

For the normal operation of RC models, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. Screw glue is needed for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage.
