The SCX10-III Jeep® JT Gladiator features a third-channel DIG function that allows you to lock the rear axle with a command from the front-wheel drive transmitter and a narrower turning radius. Alternatively, you can set a two-speed transmission instead and choose between high and low speed. If you want to use both the two-speed transmission and DIG functions, just add another servo and radio with at least four channels (such as 5-channel Spectrum-DX5).
The SCX10 ™ III Jeep® JT Gladiator chassis has gantry axles for increased ground clearance and better off-road handling. The battery box holds a standard set of LiPol or NiMH batteries. The new construction of the steel profiles of the chassis frame offers greater variability of arrangement. The inner fender covers and floor rails better hide the internal components that would be visible from the side of the chassis.
The SCXIII chassis features a Jeep® JT Gladiator body, which includes a cage, bonnet grille, windshield wipers, mirrors, door handles and other molded details, as well as detailed interior lighting and outdoor LED lighting. The new taller and wider, officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler tires on 3-piece beadlock discs increase driving reality and greater grip on a variety of surfaces, rocks and terrains.
With the exclusive DSMR® technology of the Spektrum ™ DX3 vysí transmitter, the device has excellent range, fast response and high resistance to interference. Use the Spectrum Smart LiPol battery and you can see the battery capacity on the DX3 transmitter voltage indicator.

V8 engine model cover
The faithful model of the V8 engine with the gearbox purposefully hides and protects your electric motor and at the same time enhances the realistic appearance of the chassis and motor unit. For maximum strength, the engine bed is aluminum.
Portal axles with hypoid transmission
The advantage of the AR45 gantry axles is, of course, the higher ground clearance, but also the advantageous reduction of the torque on the output shaft and the reduction of the torque and load of the drive train components.
3-piece body
The Jeep® JT Gladiator body consists of three parts, which makes it easier to install the cockpit, battery access and chassis components.
Highly detailed finished lexan body
The body of the car model is an exact replica of a real car, so the body clips are hidden so as not to disturb the body lines. Jeep® JT Gladiator has a detailed interior, steering wheel and driver's figure, lots of details on the body, such as front grille, hood air intakes, wipers, door handles, rear-view mirrors, fenders, rear door hinges, car lighting with glazing, including turn signals, etc. .
Chassis with fenders and bottom covers
The chassis of the model consists of steel profiles connected by crossbars, which creates a very rigid structure resistant to twisting. Thanks to the universal holders, you can fit the model with electronics of your choice. To prevent visible components of the electronics and interior, the chassis is equipped with fenders and bottom covers. This solution also minimizes the ingress of dirt into the model.
New battery bed
The SCX10-III chassis has a propulsion battery located near the center of the chassis, which offers a more balanced chassis with the engine at the front. There is also space on the side rails for smaller batteries, which are needed for other accessories such as lighting, winch and the like.
Aluminum oil shock absorbers
Long-stroke shock absorbers have a body made of anodized aluminum, the coil springs can be set to the force of the pressure to achieve the optimal degree of damping (spring preload can be conveniently regulated using a nut on the shock absorber body). The caps have a screw hole for checking the condition and filling of the oil. Thanks to the size and volume of the shock absorbers, their function is guaranteed along the entire stroke length.
Two-speed transmission with DIG function
The RC model is equipped with a two-speed transmission and DIG function. The model comes with a 3-channel RC kit. The DIG function is controlled remotely by means of a servo. The third channel servo can be converted to a gearbox so that you have the two-speed gearbox function available. If you would like to remotely control both functions, it is necessary to add a 4-channel RC kit with DSMR / DSM2 modulation and a micro servo SX107 (the servo package includes a special thousand-sided for the servo-saver).
DIG function
By activating the function, you can remotely disconnect and connect the rear axle via the transmitter. The rear axle is either driven or locked and the wheels do not turn. Locking the rear wheels will radically increase the turning radius and turn the model almost in place. You will also appreciate the DIG function on steep descents, which reduces the risk of the model overturning.
Stainless steel ball joints
Axial used higher quality materials in the new SCX10 III chassis to maintain the highest standard of service life. The ball joints on all chassis hinges are made of stainless steel for higher accuracy and chassis rigidity.
Geometry setting options
The Axial® team continues to optimize the geometry settings of the chassis, which is mounted on four arms. He used the experience of the SCX10 II chassis and improved the geometry of the gantry suspension, which helped to further reduce torque and at the same time allow you to tune the chassis to your liking.
Longer chassis frame
The design team increased the wheelbase to 353mm longer frame rails and chassis tie rods, allowing Axial® to design a realistic Jeep® JT Gladiator.
Detailed interior with driver
Thanks to the well-thought-out design of the chassis, the body has space for the cockpit with the driver. In this space there is a realistic driver figure, dashboard and seats.
Rear body mounting
Body disassembly has been facilitated by a new rear bumper design with body pin holes.
Licensed 3-piece beadlock discs
The officially licensed KMC XD Machete discs, which are famous in the field, are stamped in satin chrome and contain amazing model details. Because they are three-piece discs, the tires can be easily mounted, removed and replaced without gluing.
Servo shift
On the third channel of the DX3 transmitter, you can use the switches for shifting the servo speed of the SX107 gearbox with controlled DIG function.
Receiver and controller in one
The controller and receiver are integrated in one box SPEKTRUM ™ FIRMA ™ SMART 40A. Thanks to the latest electronics used, you can take advantage of telemetry and the exclusive Spektrum-Smart technology. Install the LiPol Spektrum Smart battery to keep track of the battery status on the transmitter voltage level indicator.

The Smart system consists of a compatible Spektrum transmitter, Smart receiver, Smart controller, or Smart battery.

Recommended LiPo batteries
For normal riding, we recommend a 2 or 3 cell LiPo battery (7.4 V, 11.1 V), with EC3, IC3 connector.

Recommended NiMH batteries
NiMH batteries are not demanding on proper handling and are therefore suitable if the RC model car is operated mainly by children (NiMH batteries will not be destroyed by complete discharge). However, driving time with NiMH batteries will be a bit shorter.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of the Axial RC car, you need tire glue, bolt glue, a tool kit and silicone shock absorber oil. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for RC cars.
The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time the adhesive is flexible after hardening. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the damper piston rod surface or seal condition is in poor condition, the oil leak may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases.
Screw glue is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into the metal material (eg screws in the motor, pin in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this adhesive.
Protective covers for batteries
Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for long travel times. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is prone to mechanical damage.
