Arrma Fury Mega 550 1:10 RTR Short Course RC Model Car with 2WD Drive, Independent Suspension, Oil Shocks, Proportional Steering and DC Motor. As one of the most affordable RC cars in the 1:10 scale, it will especially appeal to novice drivers and children. Thanks to the full equipment, it is also suitable for more experienced riders. The model retains all the advantages of Arrma brand models such as durability, high performance and parts support.
The Fury has a classic short-track design with body-covered wheels and Nerf side braces, so you don't have to worry about possible bumps. The low sports chassis allows for cornering at high speed. The model is suitable for hard surfaces, gravel and low grass. The composite chassis can withstand even hard impacts. The metal gears used are durable enough even for a possible upgrade to an AC drive. The proven dBoots Fortress tires ensure maximum traction.
The Spektrum SLT transmitter provides safe operation without outages and for beginners it allows the option of limiting the power to 75% or 50%. For carefree driving, the model uses waterproof* components - Spektrum 2-in-1 40A receiver regulator and Spektrum S660 high-torque servo control.
Once you get better at driving, you can improve the model and get higher performance, for example by using a 2S LiPo battery or a complete upgrade to an AC drive. (Components for higher performance are not included in the package).
The transmission, with generously dimensioned metal gears, includes a differential that distributes power from the engine to the rear wheels. The gearbox is sufficiently dimensioned to withstand AC drive as well.
The battery compartment on the underside of the chassis allows quick and easy battery replacement without having to remove the bodywork.
The composite chassis is made with ARRMA durability. It has a purposeful design with a solid, narrow body that is flat on the bottom to prevent it from snagging on obstacles.
Independent suspension and oil-filled shock absorbers absorb bumps smoothly. If your ride takes you to more difficult terrain, you can increase the ride height with spring pads.
The model contains high-quality branded Spektrum electronics that guarantee trouble-free driving and easy control. Just have fun.
The durable polycarbonate body is flexible, durable and features eye-catching graphics with a ready-to-spray finish. To access the electronics, the body can be easily dismantled, it is secured with a hidden clip for a clean look.
The Spektrum SLT 2-channel transmitter combines secure 2.4GHz control with Spektrum™ quality for reliability. The Spektrum S660 servo has a high torque. The Spektrum 2-in-1 unit includes a 40A speed controller and a receiver (In the case of upgrading to an AC drive, the unit can only be used as a receiver) .
Spektrum Smart technology ensures simple and safe charging. The USB-C charger S120 just needs to be powered with any USB adapter (not included in the package) and connect the NiMH battery. The Smart electronics will automatically set the ideal charging parameters, which will start automatically.

To power the included USB charger, we recommend using the powerful Network universal USB adapter (source) (18W).
To extend the driving time, we recommend purchasing an additional battery. For normal driving and for children, we recommend buying one more identical battery, which is included in the package. For maximum driving time and greater acceleration, you can use modern LiPo batteries. If you use different types of accumulators, it is always necessary to set the type of the connected accumulator on the controller! Only Spektrum Smart batteries can be charged with the set USB charger:

Spektrum batteries with Smart technology currently represent the most modern and safest way to maintain and charge batteries. The benefits of Spektrum Smart technology can be found here.
Smart G2 batteries are even simpler and safer, thanks to the absence of a balance connector. In addition, G2 batteries have up to 3x faster automatic discharge into storage mode. Smart G2 batteries can only be charged on Spektrum Smart and Smart G2 chargers.
To shorten the charging time and to be able to charge all types of batteries, including conventional (not Smart), we recommend using universal chargers with a power of at least 50 W. (Only SMART batteries can be charged with the supplied set charger).
For the normal operation of RC models, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.
Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
