Adjustable wheelbase

The Axial Deadbolt SCX10 II RC Car Chassis has a 305mm (12.0") wheelbase from the factory, but can easily be adjusted to a 290mm (11.4") or 313mm (12.3") wheelbase - connector kits sold (separately).Axial designed the chassis so that all the wheelbase adjustability is in the rear without interfering with the front end.

LCX AX10™ gearbox

The proven LCX AX10 gearbox contains only 3 gears and a durable adjustable friction clutch. The gearbox is completely covered and allows a considerable range of gear ratio changes - you can drive the model slowly or quickly.

Four-point rear axle suspension

The rear axle suspension geometry uses a 4-link design that is optimized to reduce axle roll and torque twist. It also helps on steep climbs off the cant by having the proper anti-squat setting.

WB8 HD Wildboar™ shafts

The WB8 HD Wildboar™ front and rear drive shafts feature a larger diameter cross pin (2x11mm) for greater strength and longer life.

AR44™ drive

The AR44's one-piece front and rear axle features a molded beam for extreme durability. The gear is 6mm off-center, which increases ground clearance and improves driveshaft angles. Metal shafts and internal helical gearing are standard, and the drive train is fully ball-bearing.

Servo in the chassis of the model

The servo is located in the chassis frame, not on the axle itself. The adjustable servo bed allows the use of a wide variety of servos.

Adjustable dampers

The oil-filled shocks have threaded bodies and a single coil spring. The amount of damping can be tuned to suit track requirements. Realistic shock absorbers with multiple mounting positions allow you to adjust the suspension for maximum performance.

Wheel rims Method 307 Hole 1.9"

Officially licensed METHOD 307 Hole 1.9" wheels offer durability and a clean look. The rims are equipped with a mock-up beadlock ring.

Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 1.9" tires

The S30 compound, 4.7" (119.4mm) x 1.9" (48.2mm) wide Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires that come with the SCX10 II Deadbolt provide plenty of trail clearance. The large tread block offers excellent traction.

Receiver box

The receiver box located on the side plates allows easy access and lowers the center of gravity. Three silicone seals are included: one for the antenna, one for the servo wires (contains three slots for three channels), and one that acts as a seal for the box cover.

Spektrum 40A regulator

The components are a Spektrum 40A electronic regulator

Spektrum SLR300 SLT RC receiver

For regular riding, we recommend a 2 or 3-cell LiPo battery (7.4 V, 11.1 V), with EC3, IC3 connector.

Transport bag

Transport the RC model comfortably and safely in the Robitronic transport bag. The bag is waterproof and has an elasticated edge that can be adjusted to the model. Thanks to the Velcro strap, the model is easy to carry. The synthetic material can be easily cleaned with water or soap suds if necessary.

Lighting models

For a breathtaking appearance, we recommend equipping the model with LED lighting. If the model already contains basic lighting, you can expand, improve or modify it according to your own needs.

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of the Axial RC car, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.

Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer.

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases.

For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, worm gear in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
