FRONT AND REAR AXLE DRIVING

Axial® designers have installed two steered axles on the model to offer you maximum maneuverability. Using the included button on the third channel of the Spectrum ™ DX3 ™ transmitter, you can select the rear axle control from 0 (direct) to 50% or 100%, left and right. Do you want it to be even more manageable? Then unlock the Dig transmission and replace the existing DX3 transmitter with a 4-channel so that you can control the Dig function and have rear steering at the same time!

DRIVE AND STEERING VARIANTS

The car has 4-wheel drive and also has a 4WS (4 Wheel Steering) system with a wide range of options for driving the car. There is a factory setting with 4 steered wheels on both axles. The steering deviation ratio is available by default. If you want to experiment, you will need more channels and free mixers in the transmitter to choose how to steer the axles.

OPTIONAL DIG FUNCTION

The Capra ™ 1.9 4WS Unlimited Trail Buggy transmission offers the option of an optional Dig setting, which is not activated at the factory. To use the Dig function, a transmitter and receiver with at least four channels plus a microservo are required. After installing the receiver, remove the spacer from inside the gearbox and install the microservo. You can then use the button on the transmitter to activate the Dig and lock the rear drive axle. This allows you to drive the car behind the front axle while keeping the rear locked axle in place.

CURRIE F9 PORTAL AXLES

The model has new Currie F9 gantry axles, which increase ground clearance while providing an excellent 7.39: 1 gear ratio. The housing has ball bearings and metal gears.

BODY TUBE FRAME

The chassis design, made of a mock-up tubular frame and 4-point axle suspension, has a very realistic appearance and helps bugs overcome rocks. In addition, it is optimized for the greatest possible suspension and offers freedom of movement to large wheels.

SPECTRUM TRANSMITTER ™ DX3 ™ 2.4GHz DSMR®

The Spektrum ™ DX3 ™ transmitter is equipped with exclusive DSMR® technology for excellent range, fast response and interference immunity. It is fully compatible with Smart Telemetry, which provides the Spectrum ™ Company řídící 2-in-1 40A Smart control unit, a receiver with a controller.

TWO SERVO WITH METAL GEAR

Each of the Capra's 4 1.9 4WS Unlimited Trail Buggy is equipped with a Spektrum ™ S614 Metal-Gear steering servo for steering the front and rear axles.

LONG STROKE ALUMINUM SHOCK ABSORBERS

The oil dampers have a new design with anodized, threaded bodies and one spring. Extra large piston diameter means better and more accurate damper function. The vent screw helps to remove air when pressed quickly. The dampers are adjustable, so you can adjust the optimum damping rate (by changing the oil viscosity).

DIFFERENTIAL METAL GEARS

Both axles are equipped with metal differential gears, which ensure smooth running and an efficient and durable drivetrain. Each axle is controlled by a separate servo and the steering can be turned up to an angle of 45 °.

STAINLESS STEEL BALL PINS

Rigid and precise steering is ensured by rods made of 6 mm stainless steel tubes with robust plastic ends for stainless steel ball joints.

BEADLOCK 3-PIECE WHEELS

Licensed Raceline discs feature a 3-piece Beadlock design that allows for easy tire removal and replacement without sticking.

LARGER WHEELS NITTO TRAIL GRAPPLER

The Capra ™ 1.9 4WS Unlimited Trail Buggy model has licensed 4.75 Nitto Trail Grappler M / T 1.9 tires from the SCX10 ™ III. These larger tires increase ground clearance while offering a wider grip area for higher traction.

READY-TO-RUN

Set Capra ™ 1.9 4WS Unlimited Trail Buggy is completely assembled and ready to ride. It contains a Spektrum DX3 transmitter, a combo receiver / controller, a motor, two control servos and AA batteries for the transmitter. All you need to top up is a propulsion battery and a charger.

FUNCTIONAL LIGHTING

The LED light bar mounted on the upper side of the body helps to illuminate the road during your late night rides. LED light bar and two front LED lights are included.

Recommended battery

The battery box is designed for "short" LiPo batteries with a length of 96 mm. Due to the method of installation, we recommend a battery with already laid cables in the corner Dynamite LiPo Reaction2 7.4V 4000mAh 50C 96mm EC3. Batteries equipped with sockets would require bed adjustment, so we do not recommend them for this reason!

Recommended chargers

We recommend using universal chargers with a power of at least 50 W to charge the battery.

Shipping bag

Carry the RC model comfortably and safely in a Robitronic carrying bag. The bag is airtight and has an elastic edge that can be adjusted to the model. Thanks to the Velcro strap, the model is easy to carry. The synthetic material can be easily cleaned with water or soap suds if required.

Model lighting

For a breathtaking appearance, we recommend equipping the model with LED lighting. If the model already contains basic lighting, you can expand, improve or modify it according to your own needs.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of the Axial RC car, you need tire glue, bolt glue, a tool kit and silicone shock absorber oil. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for RC cars.

The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time the adhesive is flexible after hardening. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer.

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the damper piston rod surface or seal condition is in poor condition, the oil leak may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases.

Screw glue is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into the metal material (eg screws in the motor, pin in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this adhesive.

Protective covers for batteries

Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for long travel times. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is prone to mechanical damage.
