The package contains finished parts of the E-flite SR-71 Blackbird 0.96m AS3X SAFE Select BNF Basic model, which is almost completely factory assembled and with installed components: Spektrum A3240A FC 2in1 control unit, 2x 1820 6800rpm 6P AC motor, 3x A202 linear servo 2.9g (2x elevon, 1x elevator), 1x servo A201 2.3g (bow landing gear). Accessories: red elevators. CZ instructions and EN, DE, FR, IT manual.

Characteristics

Aviation enthusiasts and RC pilots have dreamed of one day flying the legendary SR-71 Blackbird, and now they can make that dream come true! The E-flite® SR-71 Blackbird Twin 40mm EDF RC Model Airplane comes almost factory assembled and ready to fly right out of the box. The installed control unit with the Spektrum receiver is equipped with exclusive technologies - AS3X® stabilization and optional SAFE® Select flight envelope protection.

The E-flite® SR-71 BNF Basic is ready to be paired with your minimum 5-channel transmitter with DSMX®/DSM2® modulation. Electronics for more provide real-time telemetry data such as total battery voltage, current and more (when using a Spektrum Smart battery). This telemetry data can be viewed with compatible Spektrum transmitters with AirWare™ software. Two 40mm outrunner AC motor blowers are designed to be powered by affordable 4S 2200mAh 30C+ batteries while providing an excellent combination of performance and longer flight time.

The EPO airframe construction is characterized by panel lines and other surface details. Along with plastic-reinforced fuselage spars and composite bow braces, the model is designed to be extremely durable while being lightweight.
The rubber front cone with pitot tube and vertical fins - including an optional set of red painted fins that offer better visibility - snap into place for easy removal/replacement.
During assembly, it is enough to put on the rubber nose cone with pitot tube and the surfaces of the elevators. The package also includes red surfaces of the elevators for better visibility.

Rigid undercarriage and steerable nose wheel with tires, replicating the look of the unique aluminum tires used on large aircraft. The solid undercarriage enables taxiing, take-off and landing on a smooth surface. You can also fly without the landing gear installed for more speed and vertical performance. For launching without landing gear, it is possible to use the sculpted finger grips on the bottom of the model and the automatic Hand Launch Assist mode for easy hand-launching and landing on grass
