Durable composite chassis

The composite chassis is made with ARRMA durability. The GORGON MT has a purpose-built design with a rigid narrow chassis, independent suspension and oil-filled shock absorbers to smoothly absorb bumps. The battery compartment on the underside of the chassis allows the battery to be replaced without having to remove the bodywork.

Durable gearbox

The gearbox of the ARRMA GORGON MT model ensures power transmission from the DC motor MEGA 550 14T to the rear wheels. The gearbox is sufficiently dimensioned to withstand AC drive as well.

Electronics Spectrum

The Spektrum SLT 2-channel transmitter combines secure 2.4GHz control with Spektrum™ quality for reliability. The Spektrum 2-in-1 unit includes a 25A speed controller and a receiver. The Spektrum S660 servo has a high torque.

Recommended batteries

For regular riding and for children, we recommend purchasing an 8.4V (high) NiMH battery. For better acceleration and longer driving time, we recommend a 2S LiPo battery with an IC3 or EC3 connector.

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of RC models, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.

Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
