With the development of the officially licensed SCX10-III Early Ford Bronco 4WD , Axial® engineers have pushed the boundaries of function and performance again. It is one of the most detailed models ever produced by Axial® and is an ideal choice for both new and experienced crawler enthusiasts. The realism of the model is unprecedented and will surely delight all Ford fans. The finished Bronco lexan body has a shaped tubular cage with functional frame doors and concealed body handles to maintain clean body surface lines. Other authentic exterior details include intake hood, brand, windscreen wipers, LED headlights and taillights. The front and rear bumpers are located at the optimal approach angle for undisturbed rock climbing.
The details of the body interior are just as impressive. In the cab you will find molded seats, a dashboard, a gear lever, foot pedals and a steering wheel with a pillar. Under the hood hides a replica of the 5.0 V8 engine, gearbox and powerful Axial® 35T engine . Retro-style beadlock-style 3-piece wheels complement the Early Ford Bronco body and allow easy assembly, disassembly and tire replacement without sticking. Licensed 1.9 Falken Wildpeak M / T tire replicas safely overcome obstacles. The protective frame has mounting tabs for additional lights and a fully functional spare tire.
The proven SCX10-III chassis guarantees the excellent performance that drivers expect from Axial®. To reduce the center of gravity, the Early Ford Bronco uses the AR45 front and rear axles. The triangular suspension geometry is tuned to work with the axles to reduce torsion and further enhance the mock-up appearance. Adjustable oil-filled shock absorbers help drivers find the best damping parameters and offer larger shock absorber bodies with a larger volume of fluid for greater efficiency.
In the set package, the gearbox is equipped with a third-channel Front Dig function, which allows you to lock the rear axle using a transmitter for a narrower turning radius. Or you can configure it for two speeds with high and low gear by moving the included Micro Dig Servo to a two-speed connection. To take advantage of both the two-speed transmission and Front Dig functions, simply add another servo and transmitter with at least 4 channels (for example, 5-channel Spectrum-DX5).
The fully assembled RC model RTR car comes with a Spektrum ™ DX3 ™ transmitter with exclusive DSMR® technology for excellent range, response and interference immunity. It is also compatible with SMART telemetry thanks to the installed components, the Spektrum Firma ™ Smart 40A controller and the receiver. With the LiPol Spektrum Smart battery pack, you can monitor the battery capacity on the transmitter monitor while driving in all weathers and different road conditions - the electronics are protected by a waterproof spray.

There are many mock-up details on the detailed and officially licensed Bronco body, including a separately mounted windshield and functional tubular doors. Body mounts have this "ultra mock-up" body carefully concealed. Optional body mounts are also available when using other bodies.
The realistic composite molded body cage includes mounts for a functional spare tire and an Axial kit for installing LED lighting (sold separately).
The fender inserts and sides of the floor hide internal chassis components that would otherwise be visible on the chassis. They also help protect the body interior and include mounting points for Axial® SCX10-III multi-colored LED Rock lights with remote control (sold separately).
The Bronco chassis includes front and rear fenders, wheel arch and bumper protection to protect the body from accidents. The body is attached with 4 clips on the underside of the body so that they are not visible and do not disturb the appearance.
Numerous exterior details complete the authentic look of the Early Ford Bronco body. The package includes a front hood, brand, headlights, air intake, rear lights and wipers and more.
When you look into the interior of a 2-door body, you will be fascinated by a number of mock-up details. Properly shaped seats, dashboard with alarm clocks, radio and box, steering wheel with column, gear levers and foot pedals are standard.
The faithful model of the V8 engine with gearbox purposefully hides and protects the Axial® 35T electric motor, while increasing the realistic appearance of the chassis and motor unit.
The set is equipped with a two-speed transmission and DIG function. The model comes with a 3-channel RC kit. The DIG function is controlled remotely by means of a servo. The servo on the third channel can be converted to a gearbox so that you have the 2-speed gearbox function available. If you want to remotely control both functions, it is necessary to use a 4-channel RC kit with DSMR / DSM2 modulation and a micro servo - SPMSSX107 (the special package for the servo-saver is part of the servo package).
The Spektrum DX3 transmitter included in the set is equipped with exclusive DSMR® technology for excellent range, response and interference immunity. It is also fully compatible with the SMART telemetry potential provided by the installed Spektrum Firma ™ Smart receiver.
With the LiPol Spektrum Smart battery, with the included transmitter and receiver with Smart support, you can monitor the battery capacity on the LED indicator of the transmitter voltage.
The car's high-torque servo steering, metal gears and metal housing are waterproof * for driving in any weather and conditions.
Early Ford Bronco uses an AR45 front and rear axle for a perfect mock look and a lower center of gravity. An optional overdrive gearbox, the Axial Overdrive 6-Bolt 27/8 gearbox, is available separately.
The suspension geometry uses a 4-point suspension design that is optimized for off-road driving. It is the high twisting of the axles together with the rigidity of the construction of aluminum anodized rods and fixed ball joints that guarantee the use in such terrain that an ordinary car would not be able to handle.
Anodised aluminum aluminum shock absorbers have adjustable spring preload, a cap with a vent screw for easier filling and reliable damping in all positions of the axle arms.
SCX10 ™ III Early Ford Bronco battery compartment holds standard sets of LiPo or NiMH batteries with IC3 / EC3 connector.
The SCX10-III chassis has an adjustable wheelbase that allows you to adjust its size to match the bodywork from the spare parts range, for a wheelbase of 11.4 ", 12.0", 12.3 ".
The Early Ford Bronco comes with 3-piece Beadlock wheels, which are mock-ups of replicas of the right "slot mag" wheels. They not only complement the body, but also allow easy assembly, disassembly and replacement of tires without gluing. The package also includes screw-on wheel covers in the "knock-off" style.
Replicas of Falken Wildpeak M / T 1.9 tires are realistic and have excellent grip for rock and hill climbing. The car also has a spare Axial® tire, ready to use.
The bumpers have been designed with an optimal approach angle for rock climbing and uneven terrain. The front bumper has a mounting hole for the winch and lighting of alternative parts. Front and rear license plates are installed for greater realism while driving.

Propulsion battery and adequate charger for the propulsion battery.
For normal riding, we recommend a 2 or 3 cell LiPo battery (7.4 V, 11.1V), with EC3, IC3 connector.
Spektrum batteries with Smart technology are currently the most modern and safest way to maintain and charge batteries. You can find the advantages of Spektrum Smart technology here.
Smart G2 batteries are even simpler and safer, thanks to the absence of a balance connector. In addition, G2 batteries have up to 3x faster automatic discharge into storage mode. Smart G2 batteries can only be charged on Spektrum Smart and Smart G2 chargers.
Spektrum Smart chargers can charge both Smart and Smart G2 batteries as well as conventional batteries. Previously sold Smart chargers, after the upgrade, also support Smart G2.
If you decide to run the model on conventional LiPo and NiMH batteries , you can use universal chargers with a power of at least 50 W.
For normal operation of the Axial RC car, you need tire glue, bolt glue, a tool kit and silicone shock absorber oil. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for RC cars.
The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time the adhesive is flexible after hardening. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer.
Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the damper piston rod surface or seal condition is in poor condition, the oil leak may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases.
Screw glue is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into the metal material (eg screws in the motor, pin in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this adhesive.
Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for long travel times. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage.
