Spektrum ™ Smart Technology is a comprehensive information and service system that communicates between Spektrum Smart components. It was designed to simplify user comfort while maximizing the flow of information to provide instant status data for important components of your model's electronics. Smart Receivers, Controllers, Batteries and Chargers and Transmitters have been designed to communicate with Smart System components via telemetry, equipped with Spektrum AirWare ™. Without additional telemetry sensors, you can keep track of battery status, temperature, current and speed with the IC3 connector with data cable. The electronics of your model will communicate with you, so you can ensure the highest efficiency and performance of your model. I communicate component status data, increase your confidence in component status, and make the whole system clearer.

The iX20 lets you instantly download firmware updates via Wi-Fi and allows you to exchange settings with compatible radios via Bluetooth.

Fun programming with the iX20. The huge, easy-to-read 5-inch 720p HD touch screen has crisp, clear details inherent in the latest technology. Navigation in the programming menu is intuitive and fast. Viewing graphs, curves, teletric data, and other graphics is now easier than ever.

Fast Android interface

The first boot of the system is now going really fast, in just 30s, a clear menu screen is available from which you can launch Spektrum Airware for model programming. You do not need to turn off the transmitter during operation, as with a mobile phone, you can set the sleep mode and will resume operation in 1s. Processing speed is approximately 250% faster than the iX12. State-of-the-art touch-screen technology offers sharp and clear details and enables fast and accurate changes.

Intuitive programming

Spektrum ™ transmitter users will be able to use the iX20 easily, because the Spektrum AirWare ™ Touch user application is built on the same Spektrum AirWare firmware as it used to date. The large touch screen field greatly simplifies menu navigation.

20 channels

Intuitive programming The iX20 uses simple language and logic to help you easily set up any type of aircraft and customize and add new or other model features whenever you need to. With the X-Plus ™ channel expansion option, you can add up to eight additional channels to your receiver with the X-Plus Expansion Module (SPMXP8000 - sold separately). Simply plug the module into a compatible receiver, pair it with the iX20 and assign additional channels to any functions you want.

Transmitter menu

The iX20 allows you to customize menus based on specific receiver functions, add or remove items that are not relevant. Simply go to the receiver list drop-down menu and use the on / off buttons to turn the channel on or off (or select the number of channels if the desired receiver is not in the menu).

WI-FI, BLUETOOTH AND USB CONNECTION

When connected to Wi-Fi, the iX20 has more options. Spectrum ™ AirWare ™ Touch update notifications are automatic, and you can also download model settings and add third-party applications. The IX20 can connect to almost any Bluetooth device. This means that you can use wireless headphones or even the handset of your phone for voice notifications. You'll hear music, voice alerts, and more with brilliant clarity. The Micro USB port allows you to charge the internal LiIon battery pack with a standard USB to Micro USB cable. It can also be used to recognize additional devices and provide a convenient connection to your PC or laptop.

Connect with SMART technology

The Spektrum IX20 is the perfect tool for providing information on the electronics status of your aircraft model. It offers integrated telemetric compatibility that can provide you with real-time information on important data, such as battery voltage, current, temperature, speed, and more. The transmitter is compatible with receivers, controller and batteries that support SMART technology. The transmitter allows graphical display using graphs and displays. With the voice alert system, you can program the iX20 to tell you when certain telemetry values reach or exceed your defined limits. You can also recall a sequence of telemetry values by turning the switch.

Speech to text conversion

Android's new speech-to-text feature lets you set up your own telemetry alerts, messages, and more through your voice recognition software.

Programming warning messages

Stay on top of important information without looking at the transmitter screen. The iX20 programmable voice alert system can enter flight mode or report telemetry information automatically or on demand. If the alarm goes off, you don't have to look at the display, the IX20 can tell you. Create any voice alert by just typing words. In addition to the built-in loudspeaker, the iX20 has a headphone jack that lets you monitor your voice alerts with your headphones, so you don't have to bother other pilots. You can also use Bluetooth to connect to a wireless headset or phone.

24 programmable mixes

The IX20 has the most program mixes of all Spectrum transmitters. A curve is available for each position in each mix. For example, if you assign a combination of flight modes, you can have up to 10 flight modes; you will also have up to ten different curves. With mixer status options, you can better evaluate your mixer settings and status.

Program your receiver

Forward Programming is a Spectrum technology that allows you to configure Spektrum receivers and related products wirelessly and directly using a transmitter. It's easy. Forward Programming uses the existing two-way communication link between the transmitter and receiver to perform the same sophisticated programming that once required the presence of a cable, Bluetooth, PC or mobile phone. Forward Programming uses the intuitive Spectrum AirWare ™ firmware language, making it easy to use.

On-The-Fly (OTF)

Now you can easily tune the programmed function even during flight without landing and correcting the ground. The On-The-Fly (OTF) function allows you to conveniently adjust the mix and other programmed values on the fly by simply using one of the four auxiliary trims ( not the primary trim) you choose. < / p>

Innovative touch switch

Turn the timer on or off, or activate programmed voice alerts at the touch of a button. The iX20 is the first to use soft touch technology, so any of the ten switches, switch I, or lever button responds to the soft touch of the finger without interrupting the main controls.

Sharing models

The iX20's internal memory is large enough to accommodate the settings for your 250 models - so you rarely, if ever, need to change models between transmitter memory and SD card or Bluetooth memory devices. Model transfer is simple and hassle-free with the iX20 and other Spektrum transmitters. Models with “G2” systems and iX Series transmitters can easily share data via SD card or Bluetooth. Note: iX20 can import SPM and iSPM file types, but can only export iSPM files.

DIVERSITY ANTENNA SYSTEM

Embedding multiple antennas in the transmitter ensures stable RF performance, regardless of how the iX20 is oriented in flight. In addition to the visible antenna, another is integrated into the transmitter handle. It is a proven and efficient system that improves signal reception while reducing polarization.

Integrated camera

The iX20 has a built-in camera that can be used to capture photos and videos. The lens is located in the back of the center of the transmitter housing. It's easy to save a photo of your own aircraft and add it to your model description.

CROSS FIRE support

The iX20 has an integrated serial port for additional use. The spectrum offers the SPMA3090 with Team Black Sheep Crossfire (sold separately), which provides low latency and high frequency secondary frequency.

Wireless Teacher-Pupil

The exclusive Spectrum Trainer link feature allows you to wirelessly connect other Spektrum transmitters as a teacher-pupil, or connect to a Headset transmitter and watch key functions like adjusting the camera direction while the pilot focuses on model control. It also allows you to connect the Spektrum SPMWS2000 wireless simulator and train flying.
