The package contains finished coated parts of the model Hangar 9 P-47 Thunderbolt PNP, which contain the installed components: AC motor 4250-600KV 14P, SPM, Spectrum Smart regulator Avian 60A, Hangar 9 electric retractable chassis P-47, 4pcs Standard servo 39g. The package includes a multilingual manual in English, German, French and Italian and instructions in Czech.

Characteristics

RC model warbird from Hangar 9, P-47 Thunderbolt aircraft with a span of 1.5 m in the PNP version with installed engine, regulator, servos, propellers and retractable landing gear . All-wood construction, Ultracote cover, you only need to install your receiver with a battery.

The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was an American fighter aircraft, which at the time was the largest and heaviest single-engine single-engine piston engine in the world. It became a symbol of the US Air Force, was a robust design that withstood even greater damage in combat and at the same time high overload during the flight.

Hangar 9 offers an all-wood, practically equipped and almost finished RC model P-47 Thunderbolt, which is a standard kit that needs to be assembled according to the instructions. The advantage is that the model is equipped with a drive, servos and an electric retractable chassis. The light all-wood construction is mainly made of plywood and balsa, the parts are covered with UltraCote® iron-on foil. When assembling, the elevator must stick, install the drawbars and assemble the wing, which is attached to the fuselage with two screws and a pin. The enclosed two sets of decals offer you to decorate your model in "Wicked Wabbit" or "Hun Hunter" camouflage. The engine cover is a laminate painted, easily removable fuselage cover for easy access to electronics and batteries. The package includes a 14x12 wooden propeller for powering 4S Lipo batteries.

You can supply the drive unit with LiPol batteries 4S - 6S. You can power the 14x12 propeller that is in the set with a 4S LiPol battery, if you want to use a 5S or 6S LiPol battery, you must use another propeller (12 x 8E).

The laser-cut, lightweight balsa and plywood construction, professionally built to exacting standards, gives the P-47 Thunderbolt exceptional durability. The original factory-applied Hangar 9® UltraCote® coating film provides an easy-care surface finish.

Easy installation

No glue is needed for the main assembly of the model and you can have the P-47 Thunderbolt PNP ready to fly in less time than is necessary to charge the battery! Thanks to the design of the wing, transport and storage are solved as practically and comfortably as possible.

SMART technology

The P-47 Thunderbolt PNP features an exclusive Spektrum ™ Avian ™ Smart controller that can provide a range of real-time power system-related telemetry data, including engine speed, current, battery voltage and more, via compatible Spektrum receivers (including SPMAR637T). and transmitters, equipped with Spektrum AirWare ™ technology.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a case for storing LiPol batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of Allen screwdrivers 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0mm and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). The Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) and a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 washer will certainly be suitable for assembly.

For quick repair of aircraft models, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy adhesive. From our offer we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g

Protective covers for batteries

Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is prone to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
