The original 8IGHT-X buggy launched a new line of 1:8 scale TLR ® racing RC models. Now comes the improved model in version 2.0, which takes the best of this platform and adds a number of improvements in all directions. The drive train, suspension geometry and chassis layout were improved. With the 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 racers achieve better handling, the model can be driven more aggressively, resulting in faster lap times. All fasteners are metric for easy assembly and service.
The parts of the kit are designed with precision and made of quality materials. For light weight and durability, many components are made of aluminum, such as the CNC machined 3 mm thick chassis plate. The suspension is fully adjustable. You can clearly write down the individual setting positions in the note form and then edit them.

The 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 rear weights have updated pin placement that can be adjusted in multiple steps for fine tuning and maximum rear grip.
The suspension pins have been upgraded to use a square mount that offers more adjustability. The rear pivots are tapered for better stability and balance between the front and rear suspension.
The set includes a chassis with a thickness of 3 mm, which is made of aluminum 7075 and anodized for maximum durability. The chassis plate is even lighter, thanks to deeper milling.
The center differential holder is made of a more durable composite material. The integrated gas servo holder is redesigned and with a lower weight.
The brake linings have been updated and the brakes are now looser and provide better and more consistent stopping power.
The shock towers have been lightened and include multiple mounting positions to adjust wheel camber and shock position. The front shock absorbers are shorter for a lower center of gravity and to reduce roll.
The front and rear differential mounts have been modified for easy access to the differentials, without the need to disassemble parts of the model.
The body with the cab in the front is specially shaped to provide air pressure when driving. The body is pre-cut, unpainted.
The innovative front suspension is newly equipped with 3 mm bolts to increase durability.
The same CVA half-axles are used for both the front and rear axles. When using semi-axles, emphasis was placed on smooth cornering and stable traction on uneven tracks.
The aluminum wheel carriers are 17 mm hexagons.
The steering servo mount has been moved inward and forward for better balance. The Elektro version has an integrated holder for the controller.
The steering allows you to adjust the Ackerman geometry. The improved servo-saver eliminates binding of the tie rod under load.
The 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 uses the wing mount from the 8IGHT-X Truggy, which offers different heights and positions for maximum traction control.
The 8IGHT-X dampers are optimized and lightened to reduce the weight of the model. Spring preload is easily adjusted with a nut.
Long front and rear arms provide great handling and stability. The arms are stronger, thanks to the beam-shaped base.
All three differentials now include V2 HD bushings with composite mounts, V2 O-rings, lightweight center gears and high traction gears.
The new generation 8IGHT-X/E 2.0 suspension geometry has been further updated, making the model fast, nimble and even easier to drive.
The new wheel hub blocks have the option of adjusting the camber up to 17.5°.
Just like big cars, the 8ight model also has transverse (torsional) stabilizers installed on the axle, which fulfills an important function in compensating the tilt when passing a corner.
The new side covers of the chassis have the task of ensuring the protection of the functional parts of the chassis.
Bleed screws on the damper heads allow for easy servicing and oil changes.
