The Spektrum™ Smart Powerstage™ Pack is a one-box solution for RC cars using a 4S LiPo battery. The kit includes a Spektrum Smart S155 1x55W AC charger with SMART technology, an output with IC3/IC5 connectors, a color LCD display (SPMXC2050) and a Spektrum Smart G2 LiPol14.8V 5000mAh 50C HC IC5 battery (SPMX54S50H5).

Comparing Smart G2 battery cells is just as easy. The S155 Smart G2 charger will align the individual cells of your Smart G2 LiPo battery via a single data cable after connecting via the IC connector you use for charging. The charger's electronics immediately recognize the correct charging parameters of the connected SMART battery and start safe and correct charging.

To make charging as convenient as possible, the Spektrum™ S155 Smart G2 AC charger has a color LCD display with improved menus, icons and navigation tools. Its intuitive interface allows users to monitor charging progress and easily change settings. The clock on the screen shows the remaining time needed to recharge the battery.

When it's time to update the charger's firmware, it's also easy. The USB input port is conveniently located on the front of the cabinet. No special cables are needed. Other useful features of the Spektrum S155 Smart G2 AC charger include a sleep mode and a detachable power cable.

Output with IC3 or IC5 connectors

The Spektrum™ S155 Smart G2 AC Charger features IC3® and IC5® output connectors. Use the slider above the connectors to select the IC3® or IC5® connector, and then you can instantly charge your battery with up to 5A current with up to 55W input. You can charge and balance Smart G2 batteries with just one connection to the IC3® or IC5® connector. No need for a cable with a balancer connector!

Better user interface

To provide the best overview of the menu, the S155 G2 charger includes a color LCD display and a pleasant user interface with improved menus, icons and navigation tools. For maximum safety, simplicity and ease of charging, the new automatic charging function recognizes the SMART battery charging parameters, as soon as you connect the battery, the charger will automatically start the correct charging.

The display of the S155 G2 AC charger counts down in real time the hours and minutes until the SMART battery is fully charged.

Convenient charging

The S155 Smart G2 AC charger handles up to 4S LiPo, LiFe, Li-Ion or LiHV batteries, as well as 1-12S NiMH and NiCd packs (use Smart batteries to take full advantage of the charger's features). Its elegant and robust packaging fits well on your desk. The power cord is detachable for easy storage and transport.

LiPo accumulator Spektrum Smart G2 LiPol 11.1V 5000mAh 50C HC IC5 is a new generation of accumulators without a balancer connector, with an IC5 data cable. Spektrum™ Smart charger required. An integrated microchip stores the unique parameters of each battery, Smart technology for easy charging.

Smart G2 batteries are programmed from the factory to automatically adjust the voltage to a safe storage voltage of 3.9V per cell after 72 hours of inactivity. This will give your battery a longer life, better performance over the life of the battery. You can cancel the automatic Storage setting using the Smart charger. The G2 batteries also offer a higher discharge rate for Storage, which is three times faster than the previous G1 Smart battery.

Smart G2 soft case LiPol packs also include internal metal side plates. These plates improve heat dissipation and provide more cell protection against punctures during rough landings or in the event of an impact.

As with other Smart batteries, you do not need to set your own Spektrum™ Smart G2 battery charging preferences unless you want to change the parameters. When a Smart G2 LiPo battery is connected to a Spektrum™ Smart charger, its unique charging parameters and health information are loaded into the charger from an integrated memory microchip. You can view and set preferences such as current through the charger, so all that is needed to charge the battery is to connect it to your SMART charger. SMART technology takes care of the rest.
