Characteristics

The universal 5-channel transmitter Spektrum DX5 Pro 2021 is suitable for all users of RC car and boat models. Provides superior ergonomics and steering sensitivity. Easy and intuitive menu control with the scroll key. You will see all the information on the clear display. The transmitter is loaded with the latest features and, once unpacked, has full support for Spektrum Smart technology! Thanks to the integrated Smart system, you can set up the Company controllers directly on the transmitter and you will also have complete telemetry from Smart components. Other features you will find in the transmitter are: advanced mixers, AVC stabilization, ABS, Spectrum Lap Timer and more. Lightning control response is provided by a new module with a latency of 5.5 ms and improved telemetry transmission.

Spectrum Smart technology

The transmitter is fully equipped with Spektrum Smart technology immediately after unpacking. SMART technology ensures that all Smart components communicate with each other. Thanks to the Smart components in your model and the new DX5 Pro 2021 transmitter, you will have complete real-time telemetry, clearly in front of you on the display.

Company controller settings

No more complicated controller settings! The transmitter now supports the Firma programming function . You can conveniently set all parameters of the Firma controllers via the transmitter. The transmitter displays an identical, clear menu of the controller as for the programming card.

Improved signal quality

DX5 Pro 2021 is equipped with the latest RF module Spektrum with DSMR modulation. The new module generates a stronger signal and increases the telemetry range. The transmitter thus creates an extremely reliable connection with the receiver. When paired with a 5.5ms receiver such as the SR2100, the DX5 Pro delivers lightning-fast control response.

The frame rate indicates how often the signal goes to the servo. The default setting is 11 ms. However, you can choose from 4 options: 5.5 ms, 11 ms, 16.5 ms and 22 ms. You only need to use a frame rate of 5.5 ms with high-quality digital servos! Furthermore, it is necessary to sufficiently dimension the BEC source, which supplies the servos.

DSMR modulation

The principle of DSMR modulation is similar to the DSMX modulation now used by Spektrum air transmitters. The signal transmission takes place in a spread spectrum, spread by direct modulation of the pseudo-random sequence (DSSS - Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum). Only DSSS allows to properly demodulate the signal even if another device transmits on the given channel (WiFi wireless networks, BlueTooth, ...). The DSMR uses 23 randomly selected channels out of a total of 80 available channels, which it jumps between pseudo-randomly. Each transmitter has a different selection of 23 channels and a different pseudo-random sequence. This method provides the best possible immunity to interference from both foreign Spectrum transmitters and other devices operating in the same 2.4 GHz band. The advantage of DSMR modulation is that it can be used for ship control.

Advanced transmitter functions

The transmitter is equipped with advanced setting functions such as settings: 5 driving modes per model, AVC stabilization, Spectrum Lap Timer, Motor-On-Axle (four-wheel steering), ABS and more. Everything is clearly contained in the menu on the large display. Setting up and controlling the transmitter is very easy and fast thanks to the scroll button. The transmitter also has integrated real-time telemetry, on the display you can monitor the battery voltage, signal quality, motor temperature and more (for the telemetry function it is necessary to have a suitable receiver in the model, e.g. Spektrum SR6000T and components such as the Spektrum Smart Firma controller).

Programming electronic stabilization AVC® (Active Vehicle Control ™)

The DX5 Pro allows you to customize the AVC electronic stabilization system exactly to your liking. You can adjust AVC technology to your skill level or driving style with transmitter settings that make you feel like you're driving a fine-tuned vehicle that drives perfectly at any speed.

Vibration message

The transmitter allows the setting of vibration messages for individual functions such as low battery voltage, timers, alarms or for telemetry functions. You can set various alerts that do not interfere, but at the same time you can easily recognize them.

SD card slot

The transmitter is equipped with an SD card slot with which you can:
