The Proboat Recoil 2 18" is based on the larger 26" (66cm) Recoil speedboat, which conquered the water surface world with its speed, ease of handling and, last but not least, a stylish hull with eye-catching licensed graphics. Its huge success inspired Pro Boat to create the Recoil 2 18” RC boat, which is smaller, more affordable and offers the same exciting performance, handling and style.
Like its "big brother", the Recoil 2 has an 18" Deep-V hull made of durable ABS material. Despite the smaller dimensions, it is still an extra speed boat. Thanks to the water-cooled AC motor and Spektrum controller, it literally flies over the surface at speeds of up to 40 km/h. If the model capsizes in the middle of the lake, nothing happens, one long press on the third channel on the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter activates your Self-righting function and the Recoil 2 18” immediately flips over and returns to action.
Everything you need to operate the Recoil 2 18” is included in the package. The Spektrum SLT3 2.4 GHz transmitter combines reliability, ergonomics and the ability to set all the necessary functions to enjoy your ride to the fullest. You can easily and safely charge the included 3S LiPo 1300mAh Smart battery with the included Spektrum S120 USB-C charger. The delivery also includes a practical stand for display and maintenance. The compact size of the boat easily fits in a car or backpack for easy transport to a lake or other larger body of water. Thanks to the easy preparation and simple operation, the boat is also suitable for beginners. On the contrary, it will charm even experienced modelers with its speed, precise control and, above all, fun.
The special hull construction and outrunner motor with weight gives the model a unique feature that allows the boat to automatically flip back in the middle of the water, with a single push of a button on the transmitter.
The high performance and speed of the boat model is ensured by the Spektrum Firma 2950kv AC motor. At the same time, the alternating system provides easier maintenance and a long service life.
Thanks to the Spektrum SLT RC set, you always have a stable and secure connection without dropouts. The dual SLT/DSMR protocol of the SR315 receiver allows an easy upgrade to a universal Spektrum transmitter.

Charging your battery has never been easier. Simply plug the included Spektrum 3S Smart LiPo battery into the Spektrum S120 USB-C Smart Charger. Using Smart technology, the charger detects the correct number of cells, charging current and battery type. It will then automatically start safe charging.
Both the Spektrum Firma 30A AC motor and controller are water-cooled, which maintains a safe operating temperature of the components inside the closed hull.
The design of the model achieves an optimal balance between speed and efficiency. Even at high speeds, you have approx. 7 minutes of operation per battery.
The folding rudder is designed so that it does not break in the event of a shore impact, but instead folds upwards. When tilting, it is enough to straighten the rudder back, as the classic system with a shear screw is not used.
Stabilization and correction surfaces on the stern of the ship's hull made of stainless steel have high strength, durability and resistance to damage. By adjusting the slope of the surfaces, you can adjust the driving characteristics of the ship.
The included stand is ideal for displaying the Recoil 2 18” and for its service maintenance. Flip the stand over to use as a handy parts bin or when maintaining a flexible boat shaft.
The package includes everything to launch the boat. The boat shaft must be regularly maintained with boat shaft grease before driving. We can recommend buying spare LiPo batteries for longer driving time and a more powerful charger for faster charging.

For the normal operation of the RC model ship, you need a special grease to lubricate the ship's shafts. The special composition ensures the smooth operation of the shaft in the Teflon tube while maintaining the maximum service life of the components. We recommend Marine grease or Marine grease with grease nipple.
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
