PATENTED SPEKTRUM MS6X TECHNOLOGY

The new Spektrum DX3PM transmitter and SR6300PM receiver combine with patented MS6X technology for a whole new type of control. Thanks to this technology, Promoto-MX riders can dynamically go through corners at high and low speeds and jump on jumps like real motocross bikes.

DRIVING MODES

The DX3PM has three programmed ride modes that you can switch between at will while riding, using the rocker switch on the transmitter.

• Dirt mode – suitable for driving off-road and on grass. This mode has wheel slip protection to prevent rollover when re-traction and acceleration.
  
• Street Mode — suitable for driving on hard flat surfaces. In this mode, the electronics detects the rising front tire and ensures maximum acceleration with appropriate interventions.
  
• Wheelie Control Mode — suitable for driving on hard flat surfaces. The mode allows you to keep the wheels on a smooth surface up to the highest speed.
  

SMART TECHNOLOGY

The model is equipped with components with Spektrum Smart technology, which offers more information about the model, easier operation and battery care. All SMART components, including batteries, are able to communicate with each other and transmit telemetry. The included DX3PM transmitter displays the state of charge of the Smart battery in the model using an LED on the top. As tuning, you can display complete telemetry (revs, speed, temperature and more) using a universal Spektrum transmitter with a display, e.g. DX5C or DX5 Pro.

FLYWHEEL UNIT

The gyroscopic moment to maintain the balance of the motorcycle is created by a rotating steel flywheel, with a speed of more than 22000 rpm. The flywheel unit with the 2700Kv motor and electronics is mounted in the frame as low as possible and at the front.

SUPPORT SIDE WHEELS

Don't worry if the front tire loses grip and skids. The slim side bars with wheels are designed to prevent the model from exceeding its maximum lean angle, while also helping to balance the roll when exiting a turn. The bars include stops for adjustment to different surface types. The wheels also help when laying the bike on its side, if the rear tire is on the ground, just hit the gas and you're good to go again!

SERVO-SAVER STEERING

Stiff servo-saver springs with bearing-mounted composite plates ensure consistent control and high servo protection. But that's not all, the servosaver also fundamentally improves stability when driving in corners, jumps and over bumps.

HANDLEBAR HEAD SHOCK ABSORBER

For perfect tuning and driving experience, the key element of the model is the chamber between the upper and lower bearing of the head bearing, filled with very thick oil with a viscosity of 500000cSt. This enables excellent damping of the servo saver and reduces head vibrations.

COMPLETE ELECTRONICS

The model is directly packed with electronics - AC regulator Firma 85A Smart, powerful AC motor Firma 3652 3800kv, DSMR receiver, flywheel unit and steering servos S620PM ProMoto MG and front brakes SX108PM ProMoto Micro MG.

NARROW CHASSIS

In order to create the correct mock-up motocross look, the bike's electronics and battery had to fit into a compact, narrow chassis. Despite the cramped spaces in the chassis, the bed for the battery in the rider's saddle allows the use of a standard 2S LiPol 5000mAh battery.

REALISTIC RIDER FIGURE

The rider figure is realistically rendered, including boots, helmet, gloves and all motocross gear. The figure of the rider is unlike the others, made of rubberized plastic with an inner foam insert. This composition ensures the high resistance of the rider, which is strong, but at the same time flexible enough in the event of an impact.

LICENSED DUNLOP GEOMAX MX53 TIRES

The Moto-MX RC bike is equipped with an officially licensed replica of Dunlop tires, the Geomax MX53. These tires, like the original, provide high traction and a long service life.

REPLICA CYCLE

Realistic wheels with rims with real spokes are another first for the Promoto-MX model. Losi designers have created incredibly realistic-looking spoked wheels with the necessary durability for motocross like no one has before.

LICENSED GRAPHICS FOR CIRCUIT

The Losi brand has teamed up with the highly successful Pro Circuit supercross team to create officially licensed graphics for the Moto-MX model. Since 1991, the Pro Circuit team has had the strongest team on the AMA Supercross circuit.

STANDING OUT AND STARTING STAND

The included stand for maintenance and display is modeled after the real stand, complete with matching graphics. The package also includes a starting stand, which holds the entire motorcycle in an upright position at the start, in the style of starting boxes. After spinning the spinner, you can go out on the track.

HOOD WITH GRAPHICS

No motocross machine would look good without some decent graphics. The Promoto-MX has all the parts - front fender, license plate, fork guards, front and rear side panel and rear fender - all painted in an officially licensed vinyl graphic that is highly durable and ready to race.

REALISTIC DETAILS

The model is detailed down to the last detail, such as brake and clutch levers, cables, brakes, exhaust, etc.

FRONT FORK DESIGN

The front fork is stiff during normal riding, but compresses in the event of a crash to safely absorb energy. This will protect the front fork components and other components from bending and damage.

REAR FENDER

A conventional, hard-mounted rear fender would not last long on the model, so the Promoto-MX has a folding rear fender with elastomeric suspension. Therefore, when riding on the rear wheel, it can be deflected and the bike rests on the durable nylon rear bumper underneath.

SLIDING PLATES AND AIR HOLES

Composite skid plates line the front and bottom of the Promotion-MX chassis. They offer impact protection, helping to protect the electronics mounted inside. The vents on each side of the wheel are closed, but can be opened to allow cooling air to flow when the air temperature is too high.

ALUMINUM PLATE CHASSIS

The double aluminum plates of the basic chassis structure protect all the electronics and give the Moto-MX a realistic narrow look. They also provide the necessary rigidity and resistance to the frame.

REAR SUSPENSION

Like the big bikes, the Promoto-MX has a rear suspension with an increasing degree of stiffness. The suspension is soft around maximum ride height for smooth handling and excellent grip. The suspension is more and more rigid during larger shocks so that the rear wheel does not go all the way. Combined with the oil filled shock absorbers, the RC motorcycle is ready for any surface.

FRONT FORK

The front fork of the Promoto-MX has a new modern design with an internal spring and shock absorber. The front fork tubes are designed to work similar to regular RC shocks, they can be tuned by changing the viscosity of the oil. By means of springs wound against each other, the spacers can also be used to adjust the ride height. And perhaps most importantly, they look amazing – just like the real thing!

CORRECT HEAD ANGLE

After months of testing various, the development team of the Promoto-MX product found the best head tube angle setting of 62.4°, for the best ride balance on both Off-Road and On-Road courses.

POWERFUL AC DRIVE

The Promoto-MX is equipped with a high-performance drive system with a 3652 3800kv 4-pole AC motor with an 85A controller. This ensures high torque, brutal acceleration and a speed of up to 65 km/h.

FUNCTIONAL FRONT BRAKE

The engine handles rear braking through the drive train, but as with 1:1 bikes, it mostly brakes with the front brake. A steel disc front brake and bowden servo controlled brake pads are used to slow down the Promoto-MX. This cuts the bike's braking distance in half.

RACING SLIPPER CLUTCH

Since the engine has a very high power, a two-disc sliding clutch, used in racing cars, is used. The clutch protects the drivetrain but at the same time does not limit the motorcycle's performance.

REALISTIC CHAIN DRIVE

Steel links and 70 roller pins wind around a 10-tooth steel drive sprocket and a 36-tooth aluminum rear wheel hub sprocket. Regardless of the conditions, the chain drive will drive the rear tire efficiently and reliably.

READY TO DRIVE

The Losi Promoto-MX comes fully assembled, including the Spektrum Smart transmitter and on-board electronics already installed. Even transmitter AA batteries are included! Just add a 2S LiPol battery with an IC5 connector and a compatible charger and you're good to go. Note: IC3/IC5 adapters will not fit in the space in the Promoto-MX. A LiPol battery with an IC5 or EC5 connector is required.

To power the RC car model, we recommend a 2-cell LiPol battery (7.4V).

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of RC models, you need tire glue, screw glue, a tool kit and silicone shock oil. We recommend an affordable tool kit for RC cars from our range.

Tire glue is used to glue the tires to the disc rim. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly stuck to the wheel rim all the way around! If the tire is not glued all the way around, it may tear. Tire glue has a special composition that is able to glue materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time, after hardening, the glue is flexible. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there are only slight leaks of silicone oil on the piston rods of the shock absorber. In the event that the surface of the damper pistons or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. For routine maintenance, screw glue is needed. Screws screwed into the metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this glue.

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for a long driving time. Conversely, the LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage.
