The BD11 with which Christopher Clapp won second place in the 2022 World Championship was tuned to the specifications of the Team Yokomo riders. It is a special chassis, equipped with both components used in world races and newly developed parts.
The signature carbon arms of the suspension have been further refined and their length has been changed by +0.5mm at the front and -1.0mm at the rear, to achieve both traction and response. In addition, newly developed hard stabilizers with a linear effect in combination with 6-hole pistons react to even the slightest movement of the suspension. The springs are 2.80 in the front and 2.70 in the rear for optimal balance.
In addition, there are represented specifications, such as the rear strap tensioner, or the newly developed silent block of the upper plate, etc., which bring new aspects to the BD11.
Properties:
- Layout with the engine in the middle
- Carbon bottom plate
- Carboniferous Upper Plateau
- NEW!! Long front carbon suspension arms (+0.5mm)
- NEW!! Short rear carbon suspension arms (-1.0mm)
- NEW!! Hard stabilizer
- NEW!! Silent block of the upper plate
- NEW!! rear RTC aluminum block with 4-degree camber
- 6-way damper pistons
- New two-link semi-axles
- Split front shock absorbers
- ATF (active top deck flex) active deflection of the upper plate
- RTC (rear toe control) active rear toe
- stabilizer with low storage
The front suspension arms are 0.5 longer than before, to improve direct steering response and handling during cornering.
Stabilizer bar made of new material to improve response. Together with the front and rear spring settings, the result is perfect balance.
Newly developed silentblock for fixing the upper plate. Depending on the surface of the track, it allows proper use of the standard mounting and expands the range of suitable surfaces.
A rear strap tensioner, a must-have for team riders, is standard equipment.
Active camber rear bars now feature a 4-degree angle for increased traction and cornering stabilization.
If you're going to race, it's a good idea to tailor your electronics selection to the category.
Example categories:
- Stock 21.5T - 21.5 threaded motor and governor without timing, approved battery and tires
- Stock 17.5T - 17.5 threaded motor and governor without timing, approved battery and tires
- Stock 13.5T - 13.5 threaded motor and governor without timing, approved battery and tires
- Modified - any engine (eg 4.5T) and timing controller, approved tires
*Specific categories and their regulations may differ at different races - often a selection from the prescribed bodies, or different minimum car weight, etc. is required. We recommend that you study directly where you intend to go.
