DogsBollox ZooZilla 190 mm touring TC lexan body
The DogsBollox body for touring cars (TC) 190 mm is the third body of ZooRacing touring cars. The lid, developed as a completely low center of gravity, is equipped with a 6 mm lower part of the trunk - including the rear wing - for higher cornering speeds, more agile control and smaller changes in weight distribution. In addition to the low rear, the body also offers a very low front, which further contributes to the aggressive LCG aircraft package. When driving on a surface with high to very high grip, drivers will encounter much less rolling problems, even when using the body in the new ETS 90g weight rule configuration.
The body is an evolution of the PreoPard model, offering exceptional overall downforce and stability, making it ideal for higher speeds in the 13.5T Pro Stock and Modified classes. The body offers several aerodynamic features, such as a recessed roof section for less resistance, which directs airflow towards the rear wing for excellent rear end stability at low and high speeds, while the front cab and specially shaped front section provide better handling compared to ZooZilla. as well as greater cornering rotation for higher cornering speeds and smoother handling.
The body is equipped with several trick anti-slip elements, such as structured side sills and clever rear design, including reinforcement ribs on the boot lid, all of which contribute to overall aerodynamics and appearance, while significantly preventing the body from getting stuck without the need for additional reinforcement. A recessed roof is added to the entire package, which not only adds visual impact, but also significantly improves overall stability - something that is useful, especially when using the body in an ultra-light configuration.
Other hot features include large wheel arches that allow the body to be positioned up to 4 mm forward to increase steering response or up to 4 mm backward to increase rear stability - for a total of 8 mm. All this can be done without having to worry about tire wear or unsightly cut wheel holes. Designed using the latest CAD techniques, the body also features a 100 mm rear body mounting grille, ensuring highly accurate body positioning and mounting.
The DogsBollox 190 mm body is made of high-quality polycarbonate and is available in two thicknesses: a lightweight 0.5 mm variant that will weigh 55 g when cut, including the sash, while the standard 0.7 mm thickness comes out when cut to 83 g including the wing - which means that the second version easily fits into the 90g rules for the ETS Cup.
The package also includes revolutionary two-stage window masks, which ensure Pro-quality window frames. In the first step, all windows are masked using Step 1 masks. When the bodywork has been painted, the masks will be removed and replaced with slightly smaller Step 2 masks, which will leave the window frames exposed and ready to be painted with your favorite paint. The result is highly accurate without the need to pre-cut or cut window masks in the body, ensuring greater satisfaction and less chance of creating predetermined breaking points. The body package includes high-quality screws for fixing the wings and a detailed label, including the grille, headlights and taillights.
