Racing components
Kit 22 5.0 DC ELITE Race contains components to build your car, 100% ready to race. It includes special equipment components, front and rear cross stabilizer, carbon components, ball differentials, new axle linkages, quality shock absorbers, molded composites, and carbon and aluminum components that are in line with what racers expect from an Off-road DC Buggy racing.
Carbon package components
The DC ELITE Race kit includes front and rear carbon shock absorbers, an electronics mounting plate, and a rear wing mount. / p>
Included tuning aluminum parts
Team Losi Racing uses a range of optional aluminum parts for 22 5.0 races to improve maintenance or performance, now included in the kit. These are aluminum servo-linkage rods and levers, arm linkage, servo mount, outer front bearing liner, rear linkage block, pivot pins C and D, and aluminum nuts.
New rear pins and ball joints
22 5.0 DC ELITE offers the best adjustable rear axle ever made by TLR. Includes internal rear pivot pins, track width adjustment, top-of-the-range variable height rear linkage (VHA) for greater height adjustment.
Titanium tensioners
Titanium turnbuckles have always been a tuning enhancement to racing machines, and without them the correct set of 22 5.0 DC ELITE cannot be. Titanium turnbuckles are included throughout the car to save weight and increase durability.
More precise steering geometry
22 DC 5.0 is the best Off-road 2WD Team Losi Racing car. The steering geometry has undergone the most significant improvement. By increasing the length of the steering levers and ball joints together with the Ackermann angle changes, the 22 5.0 gives a significantly smoother driving feel, especially at high speeds, increasing safety on narrower tracks.
Super Heavy Duty Slipper Friction Clutch (SHDS)
For precise slip and softer and accurate acceleration, the friction clutch has been optimized with a new friction plate, spring and M4 nut. It is possible to use a driven gear with spur gearing 96T to 81T.
Shock absorbers Gen3 12mm Big Bore
The new G3 shock absorbers have been completely redesigned and improved. The pistons are now secured with screws, the shaft has a diameter of 3mm, new are the pistons with threaded, the new is the shape of the lower lids, spring cups offers -3 mm, 0 mm and + 4 mm, new ball joints and many other improvements bring Team Losi Racing .
2 mm milled aluminum chassis
The 2mm chassis is more flexible, making the 22 5.0 easier to operate, more stable on the track and not overturning, more shock absorbing and harder rebound.
Ball Differential
The precision ball differential has a new design of thrust discs, tungsten carbide balls and an exceptionally smooth and long-lasting performance over the previous version of the 22 2.0.
Lightweight bodywork 22 5.0
The racing bodywork must be as light as possible and have a suitable shape to maintain a low center of gravity and a high downforce. The body 22 5.0 was pulled out of a 0.8 mm thick plate.
TLR front pressure wing included
At high speeds, the use of the front sash is fully justified, ensuring thrust on the front axle, making steering at higher speeds more efficient.
Made in metric system
Metric fasteners have been used to assemble, making it easy to find replacement bolts, nuts, and washers and help reduce the number of tools required to service and install the model. / p>
Differential height adjustment
The Auto 22 5.0 DC has a differential height adjustment of 0mm, + 1mm, + 1.75mm, + 2.5mm, and + 3.5mm to optimize the output shaft angle.
Control parameters setting
The Auto 22 5.0 AC includes a standard Low Roll Center (LRC) front pivot and a separate HRC (High Roll Center) front pivot. Also included is a new 1mm thick pad for advanced editing. You can now select Super Low Roll, Low Roll, Medium Roll, High Roll, or High Roll Center.
New front linkage block
The new front linkage block allows the front axle to be changed and adds a third option that provides the best steering balance and stability in many different conditions.
Low battery storage in the chassis
22 5.0 DC ELITE boasts the most versatile and easiest to use battery shackle system. The battery is pressed at each end by elastomeric tapes that can expand to fit different battery heights and any weights under it.
Optimized composites, Stiffezel
In 22 5.0 DC ELITE, a number of different composite materials can be found in key components. Composites include components that the racing team prefers: Stiffezel front axle arms, Stiffezel rear axle arms, silencer parts and more. Composite materials are lighter in weight than metal, so it is wise to use them where this does not affect component life, and in many cases is even more advantageous. < / p>
Optional load
The optional brass weight can be mounted under the battery, under the receiver or instead of the front axle shaft coupling. This allows for easy tuning of static weight and load selection when changing track conditions. When driving with a higher static weight, the chassis becomes more neutral and easier to ride on high-grip surfaces. Weights are not included.
Pressure rear wing TLR 6.5
The rear wing is made of highly durable 1.2mm polycarbonate. This wing proved to be the best and most stable rear wing available for 1:10 2WD cars.
A radiator mounting bracket is available
In races, the engines are stressed to the maximum of their capabilities and because they are warm enough, it is necessary to use a fan to keep the engine temperature lower. The kit includes a bracket for easy and reliable fan assembly (fan not included).
Drive configuration
3-row transmission allows the engine to move forward 20 mm, more to the center of the chassis. With this adjustment, cornering can be driven at a higher speed.
