Castle regulator Sidewinder 4

New in 2018! Castle Creation Sidewinder 4 for 1:10 RC models with revolutionary Cryo-Drive technology. The controller is designed for car models in 1:10 scale up to about 4 kg. Supply voltage 6 to 8 cells NiMH or 2 to 3 cells LiPo. See the table below for details.

Of course there is a waterproof construction, sensorless design for maximum ease of operation and of course a wide range of settings.

Cryo-Drive technology

The biggest losses occur during switching and switching off of power transistors. Castle Creations has developed a completely new software that reduces the frequency of switching power transistors. The result is a radical reduction in heat loss in both the controller and the engine itself, increasing efficiency and ultimately extending the driving time.

Another innovation is optimizing the shape of the radiator. Developers at Castle Creations have created a brand new var rib with a new airflow simulation program, which effectively transfers heat to the flowing air. This makes it possible to reduce the size of the entire controller and use a standard 30 mm cooler. Sidewinder 4 is very similar in size to the popular Castle Sidewinder 3 range.
