Data transmission via one wire

An amazing innovation is the very simple connection, data transfer from the Smart battery and the motor. The company to the controller is via one data wire, which is part of the IC connector. Data is transmitted to the receiver via the SRXL2 protocol. Spektrum Firma controllers are, of course, backward compatible with a classic PWM signal, so you can also operate the controller on a classic PWM output, but without telemetry data transmission.

If you use a LiPol Spektrum Smart battery, the controller automatically reads all the data from the battery. The display of the Spectrum transmitter will show you useful information, such as the number of cycles, the remaining battery capacity, the voltage of individual cells.

Programming with the Spektrum Smart programmer

The Spectrum Smart programmer is designed to adjust the parameters of the Smart Avian and Smart Firma controllers. Model type, brake type, brake efficiency, voltage detection, number of LiPol cells, cut-off voltage, BEC voltage, motor speed start, timing, motor reversal, idle and factory settings can be checked, set and saved. / p>
