Characteristics
A large model of the remote control RC model, the P-47 Thunderbolt with the characteristic flowing cockpit, was nicknamed the Razorback. The span of the model is 1.2m, electronics including receiver with servos, retractable landing gear, flaps, BL15 AC motor and Avian 70A Smart Lite AC controller are installed. A number of mock-up elements complete the great look of the model. BNF version without Spektrum transmitter and drive battery.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was a fast and robust WW2 aircraft that was used both for attacking ground targets and for escorting bombers or for combat missions. In its time, it became the largest and heaviest single-seat fighter with a piston engine. Its robust construction, armored cockpit and eight 12.7mm machine guns made it an excellent weapon for destroying ground targets. Until the P-47D-25 version, the Thunderbolt had a high fuselage behind the cockpit, from which the nickname of these older series - Razorback (razorback) was derived.
The E-flite® P-47 Razorback 1.2m model is a replica of the venerable American warplane that offers an unparalleled flying experience. Thanks to functional flaps and retractable landing gear, this can be your first fully equipped warbird, but at the same time it will certainly satisfy a wide range of pilots. The power system is compatible with 3S and 4S LiPol batteries, thanks to the Spektrum Avian 70A Smart Lite controller and the Spektrum AR631 receiver, real-time telemetry data is available along with advanced AS3X and SAFE Select electronic stabilization technologies.
The model is painted in the camouflage of a P-47 that flew with the 510th Squadron with the 405th Fighter Group during World War II. Features a variety of mock-up details, including sculpted panel lines, optional add-on tank and armament, four-blade propeller, and more. You don't need glue for final assembly, so you can have the model ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge the battery. The size is also suitable for storage and transport without the need for disassembly, or the one-piece wing can be easily disassembled for even easier transport and storage.

Bind-N-Fly version
Already own a Spektrum™ RC transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft are already ready to fly, thanks to a ready model aircraft with a Spektrum receiver. A motor with a regulator, servos and a Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver are installed. Therefore, just pair the receiver in the model with your compatible transmitter, complete the final assembly and fly (transmitter, battery and charger sold separately).
Exclusive technology
The model is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. The AS3X is a 3-axis gyro, eliminating the effects of wind and turbulence, so you will feel like you are flying a much larger aircraft. Optional use of SAFE Select offers pitch and roll limits and automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off with a switch! If you do not want to activate the SAFE Select functions, pair the receiver in the normal way and only the AS3X 3-axis stabilization will be active.
SMART technology
The P-47 Razorback 1.2m features an exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite controller that provides a range of real-time power system-related telemetry data, including engine speed, current, battery voltage and more – both Smart and non-Smart . batteries – via compatible receivers (including AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX14, iX20 and others).
Choice of performance
The AC drive unit installed consists of a Spektrum™ Avian™ 70A Smart Lite controller and a specially tuned 15BL motor with a 4-blade propeller. This drive has great thrust with a 3S 2200mAh LiPo battery or offers even higher speed and unlimited vertical power with a 4S 3200mAh LiPol battery, all without the need for any modifications or upgrades!
A series of mock-up details
The model is made of light but durable composite-reinforced EPO material, which is very resistant to damage and at the same time easy to repair. The P-47 Razorback is equipped with many mock-up details including paneling, a pilot figure and more. Includes an optional add-on tank, bombs and rocket launchers that are quick and easy to install or remove without tools.
Functional undercarriage and flaps
For perfect flight realism, the model is equipped with electric retractable landing gear and flaps. The chassis has an electric retractable chassis and model legs with wheels and chassis covers. Flap flaps with separate servos will reduce take-off and landing speed, shorten landing distance and increase operational safety.
Realistic coloring of "Kansas Tornado II"
The model is painted in "Kansas Tornado II" camouflage, the same color as the P-47 that Captain Howard Curran flew with the 510th Squadron, 405th Fighter Group, during World War II.
Easy assembly
No glue is needed for final assembly and you can have the P-47 Razorback 1.2m ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge the battery! And although it's the right size to fit in the trunk of a regular car, you can easily remove the wing for even easier storage and transport.
A 2-blade propeller APC 12x6E (RE-LP12060E) can be recommended for the model as an alternative. When assembling the propeller, it is necessary to remove the plastic insert from the collet, which is part of the assembly of the 4-blade propeller, and put another suitable insert (plastic, aluminum) on the shaft of the collet with a hole of 6 mm, a diameter of approx. 20 mm and a length of approx. 8 mm. This insert will move the propeller landing surface to a safe distance from the engine cover. (The insert cannot be ordered, the manufacturer does not supply it).

Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
