SMART technology

The F4U-4 Corsair features an exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite controller that can provide a variety of real-time power system-related telemetry data, including motor speed, current, battery voltage and more – with and without Smart. battery – via compatible receivers (including AR631) and transmitters, equipped with Spektrum AirWare™ (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others) in real flight.

High performance

The installed power unit includes a specially tuned powerful 850Kv AC motor and a Spektrum™ Avian™ 70A Smart Lite AC controller with a 4-blade propeller that has an excess of thrust with a 3S LiPol battery or higher speed and almost unlimited vertical power with a 4S LiPol battery, without no need for any adjustments or settings.

Mock up details

The model is made of tough and durable EPO material with a number of mock-up elements, ready-made coloring, equipped with a cabin with a cockpit and a pilot figure, a mock-up of the engine, covers of the retractable landing gear, engraving of the cover panels, etc. The model traditionally has excellent flight characteristics and simple preparation for flight.

Functional undercarriage and flaps

A big advantage is the installed electric retractable undercarriage, which folds back just like the large model and at the same time rotates the wheel by 90°. The flaps on the wing consist of a total of six pieces and are folded by two servos. When using them, both take-off and landing speeds will be reduced and flight comfort will be increased.

Decals available

In the package, you will find a decal sheet with MARINES and NAVY inscriptions, with which you can change the registration of your machine and distinguish it from a friend's model.

Easy assembly

No glue is needed for final assembly, so you can have the F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge the battery! And although it's a convenient size to transport assembled in the trunk of a regular car, you can remove the wing if you need to for even easier storage and transport.

Accessories for normal operation

For the normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) and Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 pad for cutting will certainly come in handy for assembly.

For quick repair of model airplanes, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g

Protective covers for accumulators

Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
