Acrobatic Extreme Flight models are freely based on real airplanes, and the designer has allowed a number of modifications to create a model with unique looks and flight performance. The term EXP is not related to the actual aircraft, but is an abbreviation for "Experimental Progressive". This designation was chosen due to the fact that the Extreme Flight models use several advanced design and aerodynamic concepts. With a light construction based on balsa and plywood, carbon and glass composite materials are used generously - and at the right places - to achieve high strength and stiffness at a minimum weight. The result is a robust model capable of handling a wide range of aerodynamic loads but light enough to achieve high performance.
The kit includes tuning winglets or Side Force Generators (SFGs) that increase the effective side surface of the model, making the knife flight and other turnarounds dependent on rudder "authority" easier and more stable. These winglets also make the model more stable when turning at high take-up angles (harriers). We strongly recommend that you mount and experiment with the model.
Perfectly sprayed laminate engine cover and aerodynamic wheel covers, as well as the ability to choose from multiple color schemes with a high visibility ULTRACOTE (= Oracover) translucent film, will give you a model that you will be proud of at the airport. The combination of all these modern elements creates a model that moves the boundaries of the possibilities of modern aerobatic flying. Extreme Flight models excel in all aeronautical aerobatics modes including slow 3D acrobatics at low altitude, fast and aggressive extreme acrobatics and classic precision acrobatics.

The fuselage is a classic design made of plywood and balsa laser cut-out parts with composite reinforcements with a detachable laminate motor cover and a detachable hull top with cab for perfect access to the drive system and RC equipment. The engine is mounted in rear mounting on a plywood box; a tunnel on the underside of the fuselage is prepared for eventual tuning of the tuned exhaust silencer.
The two-part wing with a symmetrical profile (half sliding from the side to the carbon tube connector and securing bolts) is also a classic construction with a full-body rigid coating. Large ailerons are controlled by 2 pairs of servos. The wing ends can be fitted with winglets or laminate end arches.
Tail surfaces are lightweight all-metal construction, GCT is a two-part stabilizer sockets slid on a carbon tube. The elevator halves are operated by servos mounted in a horizontal stabilizer with short straight rods. The ruler is controlled by one or two servos of standard size stored in the tail. The whole model is coated with ULTRACOTE iron-on transfers (this is a trademark used in the US for well-known Oracover films).
The chassis is of the spur type with the carbon main legs, the wheels with laminated covers and the wire spur with the carbon bracket coupled with the rudder.
For the drive, you will need a gasoline engine of 85-130 cc (eg GP-123).
To control the model, at least nine-digit computerized RC sets - the right setting of "pair" servos and the programming of double and exponential deflections of the right size are essential for aerobatics flying - classic precision and extreme 3D.
The servo caters fast and very strong in standard sizes - eg Hitec Hitec HS-7950TH, D980TW or HSB-9381TH and one standard servo for gas control. <" / p>
