Telemetry sensor GPS sensor combined with barometric altimeter / variometer for Futaba RC kits with telemetry transmission systems FASSTest, T-FHSS Air (for aircraft) and T-FHSS (Surface) for cars. Allows measurement of line speed relative to the ground (0-500 km / h), distance, relative altitude (-700 m to +5500 m) with respect to the take-off point with a resolution of up to 0.1 m and climb / descent speed (-150 m / s to +150 mps. Ideal for measuring the speed of aircraft models as well as ground technology and ships, the flight altitude of aircraft models (especially gliders and powered gliders) and signaling their ascent / descent, measuring the distance of the model from the take-off point and similar applications. The operating states of the sensor are indicated by an LED diode.
Compatible receivers: Futaba receivers with S.BUS2 port
Connection to the receiver: S.BUS2 socket.
Number of addresses required by the sensor: 8 *
Default address number setting (start address): 8 *
Transmitted telemetry data: line speed of the model to the ground, distance of the model from the reference point (starting point), relative height (with respect to the reference point - sensor switching point), ascent / descent speed
Typical installation: At the top of the model with a “clear view of the sky” - there must be no electrically conductive part of the model above the sensor - and at the same time where the sensor is not directly exposed to airflow but in a space that is not completely enclosed to could show changes in atmospheric pressure. The sensor will not work properly in the room and in certain flight positions (eg flying on your back), because GPS signal reception is not guaranteed in such an environment or situation.
Power supply 3.7-7.4V (nominal battery voltage).
Sensor set includes: SBS-02G sensor with cables, instructions.
*) Telemetry sensors are identified on the S.BUS2 serial bus by an address number ("slot"); more complex sensors transmitting more than one data may require several consecutive addresses - in which case the first address belonging to a given sensor is called the start address. < / i>
