Extreme Flight acrobatic models are freely based on real airplanes, and the designer has allowed a number of modifications to create a model with unique looks and flight performance. The term EXP is not related to the actual aircraft, but is an abbreviation for "Experimental Progressive". This designation was chosen due to the fact that the Extreme Flight models use several advanced design and aerodynamic concepts. With a light construction based on balsa and plywood, carbon and glass composite materials are used generously - and at the right places - to achieve high strength and stiffness at a minimum weight. The result is a robust model capable of handling a wide range of aerodynamic loads but light enough to achieve high performance.
The kit includes tuning winglets or Side Force Generators (SFGs) that increase the effective side surface of the model, making the knife flight and other turnarounds dependent on rudder "authority" easier and more stable. These winglets also make the model more stable when turning at high take-up angles (harriers). We strongly recommend that you mount and experiment with the model.
Perfectly sprayed laminate engine cover and aerodynamic wheel covers, as well as the ability to choose from multiple color schemes with a high visibility ULTRACOTE (= Oracover) translucent film, will give you a model that you will be proud of at the airport. The combination of all these modern elements creates a model that moves the boundaries of the possibilities of modern aerobatic flying. Extreme Flight models excel in all aeronautical aerobatics modes including slow 3D acrobatics at low altitude, fast and aggressive extreme acrobatics and classic precision acrobatics.

The fuselage is a classic design made of plywood and balsa laser cut-out parts with composite reinforcements with a detachable laminate motor cover and a detachable hull top with a cab for perfect access to the drive system and RC equipment. The engine is mounted in rear mounting on a plywood box.
The two-part wing with a symmetrical profile (half sliding from the side to the carbon tube coupling and securing bolts) is also a classic construction with a full-body rigid coating. Large ailerons are controlled by 2 independent servos. The wings can be fitted with winglets supplied.
Tail surfaces are lightweight all-metal construction, GCT is a two-part stabilizer sockets slid on a carbon tube. Half of the elevator is controlled by servos located in the tail part of the fuselage with short straight pulls; the rudder is controlled by cable carriages in a cabin space. The whole model is coated with ULTRACOTE iron-on transfers (this is a trademark used in the US for well-known Oracover films).
Chassis is spur type with duralumin main legs, wheels with laminated covers and wire spur with carbon bracket coupled with rudder.
You will need a 30 cc combustion engine (for example OS GT-33) or a 3-4 kW AC electric motor (eg Xpwr 30cc) with at least 120 A speed controller powered from 8-12S LiPo battery 3500-5000 mAh with a load capacity of at least 40C .
For the control of the model, at least six-channel computerized RC sets - the right setting of "pair" servos and the programming of double and exponential deflections of the right size are essential for flying acrobatics - classical precision and extreme 3D.
The servos are fast and powerful in standard sizes - eg Hitec HS-7985MG, D954SW, etc. <" / p>
The kit includes: iron-fueled film fuselage, wing and tailpiece, sprayed laminated engine cover, complete set of accessories, duralumin chassis, spur, wheels and instructions.
