Characteristics

Powerful EZ-Peak Plus charger for Traxxas 2-4S LiPo batteries, 5-8 NiMH cells, with a charging power of 100W. Safe and extremely easy charging of Traxxas batteries, thanks to iD technology. Just plug in the battery with iD connector and the EZ-Peak Plus charger sets everything up optimally! Charging Traxxas batteries is very easy and anyone can handle it. The charger is very powerful and has a charging current of up to 8A.

Traxxas iD system

All Traxxas iD batteries have an integrated chip in the connector, which recognizes the charger when connected and thus finds out what type of battery it is and sets all charging parameters optimally. The charging connector for LiPo batteries also has integrated balance cables, for maximum simplification. There is no need to connect a separate power and balance connector.

Compatibility with classic Traxxas connectors

The charger is fully compatible with the original LiPo batteries with Traxxas connector and JST-XH balance connector or NiMH batteries with older Traxxas connector. JST-XH connectors for 2, 3 and 4 cell batteries are located under the plastic cover in the front of the charger. Charging parameters for batteries without iD technology must be set manually.

Modes for LiPo batteries

• Fast Charge mode is used for fast charging of LiPo batteries. Charging is complete when one of the cells reaches a final voltage of 4.2 V.
• Storage mode is used for long-term storage of batteries (more than 7 days). The charger charges or discharges the individual cells of the battery to a voltage of 3.8 V, thus ensuring the lowest possible degradation of LiPo cells during storage
• Balance mode is used for standard charging of LiPo batteries. Charging is complete when all cells reach a final voltage of 4.2 V

Modes for NiMH batteries

• Charging mode: The charger charges the battery and the end of charging is detected by the Delta-Peak method.
