Traxxas charger EZ-Peak Dual 3S 2x50W

The new Traxxas iD system is the easiest way to charge batteries to RC car models! Thanks to today's very common RFID technology, the charger identifies the connected battery type and sets the charging parameters by itself. Just plug in the Traxxas battery with the iD connector and the Traxxas EZ-Peak Plus charger will do the job for you! Charging the batteries is very simple and can be done by everyone. With dual output, you can charge up to 2 rechargeable batteries independently, or connect the outputs together to charge one battery up to 8 A (fast charge mode)!

The new iD Traxxas connectors are the same for LiPol and NiMH batteries. With LiPol, the balance connector is integrated into power. There is therefore no need to attach a special force and balance connector.

When connected to an iD connector, the EZ-Peak Plus charger detects the battery type and charging current. For batteries with old connector types, the charging current and battery type must be set manually. Even when using iD batteries, you can influence the charging current yourself.

The Traxxas EZ-Peak Plus charger is also equipped with a JST-XH 2S and JST-XH 3S balance so that you can also charge ordinary LiPo accumulators that have a specially designed service connector.

Operating modes of the charger

• Dual : There are 2 independent outputs, the charging current is 1 to 4 A
• Fast Charge : Both outputs are connected to one, the charging current is 5 to 8 A

Charging modes for LiPo rechargeable batteries

• Fast Charge is used to quickly charge LiPo batteries. Charging terminates when one of the cells reaches a terminal voltage of 4.2 V.
• Storage mode is for long-term storage of batteries (more than 7 days). The charger charges or discharges individual cells of the battery at a voltage of 3.8 V to ensure the lowest possible degradation of LiPo cells during storage
• Balance mode is used to charge LiPo accumulators by default. Charging terminates as soon as all cells have reached the terminal voltage 4.2 IN

Charging modes for NiMH batteries

• Charge mode: The charger charges the battery and the charging end is detected by Delta-Peak
