Information about the original:

This version of the powerful twin-engine F-111 electronic warfare wing was designed to support attack formations against the threat of increasingly sophisticated anti-aircraft missile defenses. The generous dimensions of the aircraft allowed it to be loaded with a huge amount of sophisticated electronic equipment for analyzing and jamming the frequencies of enemy radars. Entering service in the 1980s, the EF-111 saw extensive use in the Persian Gulf War, where it supported Allied air formations and severely limited the enemy military's ability to respond.
