RC model Carbon Cub S2 for learning to fly, is an ideal school model aircraft with SAFE, AS3X functions and flight modes, Spektrum DXS DSMX transmitter with telemetry . Option to install a GPS module. Durable EPO material, large Tundra wheels. You need to top up your battery and charger.
The Carbon Cub S2 is equipped with exclusive SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, so you can take advantage of the flight envelope protection. The SAFE system ensures limit values for tilt and ascent or descent. The model cannot be brought into extreme flight positions, and after returning the control levers to neutral, the model will level off into horizontal flight. And you can immediately return to steady flight with Panic Recovery (Panic button) when you lose your orientation or from an unusual flight position. The large wheels allow it to take off and land on a variety of surfaces, including grass, paths, dirt paths or pavement, or you can install optional floats to allow it to take off from water - increasing the model's versatility and capabilities.
FULL TELEMETRY AVAILABLE
The Carbon Cub S 2 is equipped with an AC 30A regulator with telemetry , which provides the DXS transmitter, which is part of the RTF version, with data about the drive battery voltage. When using a compatible Spektrum G2 transmitter , you'll have access to a variety of telemetry data related to real-time system performance, including motor speed, current, battery voltage and more through the Spektrum™ AirWare™ menu. The addition of exclusive Spektrum Smart LiPol battery and SMART charger components facilitates proper and safe charging
SMART TELEMETRY
You can enjoy all the benefits of Smart™ technology, use a Smart battery with the model and telemetry data such as current, voltage, temperature and rpm will be sent directly to your transmitter in real time. The DXS transmitter included in the set only indicates the voltage of the drive battery.
The prototype of the model was the Cub Crafters airplane, which in a modern model design is equipped with exclusive and innovative SAFE technology with the possibility of installing an optional GPS module. If you choose the optional GPS module , you'll have access to advanced features like AutoLand, Holding Pattern circling, and Virtual Fence that make it easy for virtually any novice pilot to have a successful first flight. But there are other model options, additional wing turbulators, large Tundra tires and optional flaps and floats. This makes the model very versatile, even for advanced flying and further development of pilot skills.
RTF - ready to fly
In the package you will find a Ready-To-Fly (RTF) model, with installed electronics and a ready Spektrum DXS transmitter. You only need to top up your own drive battery.
Durable construction
The model is made of solid and very durable material Z-Foam. The model stands out for its quiet flight thanks to the wing with a semi-symmetrical profile, the flight is therefore reasonably slow and very stable. The wide 3-wheel landing gear has a steerable nose wheel, so take-off and landing are very easy.
Easy access to the battery
Carbon Cub S 2 comes with complete electronics and drive installed, you only need to add a LiPol battery with a charger. The battery is stored in the lower part under a plastic cover and is tied with Velcro.
Tundra size wheels
The Carbon Cub S2's large balloon wheels can safely absorb uneven and rough runway surfaces that most models of this size would not be able to handle.
Optional flaps
Functional flaps are optional for impressive short-haul takeoffs and landings. This feature requires a 7-channel Spektrum transmitter, servos and extension cables. (Sold separately)
Optional floats
Floats are an option for conversion to a seaplane and flying on the water surface. Installation takes only a few minutes and all necessary accessories are included in the set and float kit (sold separately).
Optional module, LAS landing sensor
The Spektrum Landing Assist Sensor (LAS) is easy to install and can provide automatic assistance during landing. Assists inexperienced pilots in landing by detecting height above terrain for accurate alignment and minimizes or eliminates bounce (works on most surfaces to ensure a safe landing).

Panic Recovery - Panic flight recovery
If you ever lose control of the aircraft in more advanced flight modes, simply switch to beginner mode and release the control sticks. SAFE® Plus technology automatically returns the aircraft to level flight.
Beginner mode
A beginner, it has a limited elevator and aileron tilt, when the levers are put in neutral, the model stabilizes in a horizontal position, the engine speed is regulated according to the climb or descent, and there is also assistance during take-off and landing.
Advanced mode
The Advanced mode allows a greater tilt of the model, but it will not roll over on its back or fall. Flight positions are limited to approximately 60° tilt. There is already a lot of control freedom and minimal flight corrections are made. When flying above 15m, the automatic comparison of the model to the horizontal position after releasing the levers is not functional.
Expert mode
In the Expert flight mode, control is completely free without corrections and without restrictions on flight positions. You can even fly on your back and perform acrobatic maneuvers.
Spektrum DXS transmitter
The Spektrum DXS 7-channel RC transmitter supports Spektrum™ Smart technology for battery telemetry of Smart controllers and Smart LiPol batteries. Thanks to the possibility of programming using a computer or mobile devices, you can simply upload the finished settings to the transmitter. Without a cable, you can easily set reverse channels and change modes using transmitter programming. The transmitter has full range, DSMX® interference immunity, advanced telemetry and proven transmitter ergonomics. Transmitter registration and updates are possible via a PC with an optional USB programming cable (available separately). The transmitter is configured to provide the benefits of SAFE® technology with compatible SAFE-equipped receivers
Battery voltage telemetry
The transmitter has 4 diodes on the front of the case under the transmitter battery voltage indicator, which will inform you of the status of the flight battery. Four green LEDs illuminate when the flight battery is fully charged, 3 indicate a voltage between half and full, 2 a half-charged battery, and one LED if the battery is low.

AutoLand, assisted landing
After activating and pressing the button, the AutoLand Assisted Landing function will be activated and the Carbon Cub S+ will independently land at the launch initialization location. You can interrupt the automatic landing at any time by simply pressing a button, avoid obstacles or adjust the direction, or if there is no danger, let the system work to guide the model to a safe landing. As you gain more confidence, you can take more control and eventually learn to land without assistance.
Holding Pattern - circling above the take-off point
This nifty exclusive SAFE Plus feature essentially allows you to "pause" your flight so that when activated and quickly pressed, the aircraft will automatically return to a position above the GPS home point and circle until the command is cancelled. It's a great way to safely hand off control to a friend or regain visual contact if you're out of control and don't know the model's position.
Virtual Fence - Virtual fence
It's very easy to let the model fly too far, but with Virtual Fence you don't have to worry anymore because it creates an invisible boundary that the model won't cross. When it reaches this limit, it automatically turns and flies back, then flaps its wings to indicate that steering control has been re-established.

If you decide to use modern Smart LiPo batteries in RC models of airplanes or helicopters, or to charge your batteries from other manufacturers, then we recommend the following chargers:

Accessories for normal operation
For the normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy for assembly, and for cutting a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 pad.
For quick repair of model airplanes, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
