Characteristics
Popular American tourist plane Piper Cherokee as RC model PNP from E-flite, 1.3m wingspan with model details, working LED lights and flaps. AC motor, controller and servos are installed. LiPol 3S - 4S 2200-4000 mAh is recommended for power supply.
Like the big model, the Cherokee model also stands out with its excellent flight characteristics. It is equipped with a fixed hooded 3-wheel landing gear with a controlled bow suspension leg and has a floating elevator, LED lighting and functional flaps. The authentic look is emphasized by a number of mock-up details, including molded panel lines, rivets, corrugated covers of control surfaces, etc. The large fuselage cover with cockpit and pilot figure , now including a plastic instrument panel cover offers easy access to electronics and battery mounting space with plenty of room for inserting a 3S or 4S 2200-4000 mAh battery. The model can be prepared for flight in a very short time thanks to ready-made parts. The AC motor, controller and servos are installed so assembly takes a short while. For commissioning you will need your RC kit and LiPol drive battery, you will use the instructions to make the necessary settings.
The Piper Cherokee 1.3m PNP is an upgraded version that has modern electronics with a Spektrum 3536-1000Kv AC motor and an Avian 70A Smart® Lite controller with telemetry. Thanks to this, it is possible to have real-time battery voltage, engine speed and other data through compatible Spektrum G2, NX and iX transmitters and receivers. These features make flying smarter and more fun than ever before!

The PNP® version comes with the motor, controller and servos installed, ready to connect to the receiver of your choice (sold separately), plus a transmitter and batteries for you to refill (also sold separately). Simply install the receiver, complete the final assembly and you're ready to fly!
SMART technology
The 1.3m Cherokee is equipped with the exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite controller, which can provide a range of real-time power system-related telemetry data, including engine speed, current, total battery voltage and more – with both SMART and regular batteries – through compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped receivers and transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 up to 20, iX12 up to 20 and more), in real-time in flight.
Compatible with 3S or 4S LiPol batteries
The model is powered by a powerful drive unit with a Spektrum AC motor and a Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite AC 70A controller. For power, you can choose a 3S 11.1V 2200-3200mAh LiPol battery or, for higher performance, a 4-cell battery without any modifications. The advantage is the optimized propeller, which will make the model drive even more powerful. The specially tuned motor provides great thrust with a 3S LiPo battery or greater speed and unlimited vertical power with a 4S battery without the need for any modifications.
Mockup details of the model
Cherokee is made of durable EPO foam in molds, so it has accurate shapes, finished coloring, detailed representation of the surface according to the real aircraft such as upholstery panels, riveting, moldings on the upholstery, etc. The cabin is equipped with transparent glazing, seats, pilot figure and instrument panel contribute to the authentic appearance of the model.
Functional flight features
The chalk is equipped with flaps that provide better controllability at low speeds, shorter take-offs and low-speed landings. A hooded fixed chassis with a sprung bow leg and large wheels allow it to be launched from a wide range of surfaces. Installed LED lighting, including navigation lights on the wing trailing arches, rear beacon on the rudder and landing lights, add to the realism and authenticity.
Durable and solid construction
The Cherokee is made of stiff and extremely light EPO material, which is reinforced with carbon strength elements. This material makes it possible to create even small details of the model's surface, at a very low weight of the model. The end result is an excellent looking model that offers a great flying experience.
Easy to assemble
The Cherokee 1.3m is designed so that no glue is required for completion, so you can assemble it in less time than it takes to charge the battery. It's also designed for easy transport and storage with a split wing that features a convenient integrated connector system for connecting servo cables and an LED connection system so you don't have to touch wires or connectors. You simply slide the wing onto the wing coupler and secure it with four screws.
Level 3 - Requires experience
Level 3 RC model airplanes like this are suitable for pilots who already have experience and skill in setting up and flying models of a similar class. This PNP version requires more experience and skill to build and fly than the BNF Basic version because you have to install the receiver , which no longer includes properly tuned AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. You should have the experience and skills to successfully fly follow-on models such as the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m and other similar classes before attempting to fly the Cherokee 1.3. m

Accessories for normal operation
For the normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0 mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy for assembly, and for cutting a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 pad.
For quick repair of model airplanes, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is especially susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
