Characteristics
The 1.1m wingspan E-flite Sportix RC model is designed from the ground up as a great looking and highly maneuverable sport flying aircraft. It is ideal for less experienced pilots as a next step up from a beginner model, for pilots looking to start learning to fly aerobatics, and for experienced pilots for everyday flying. This model is capable of smooth and stable sport flying as well as precise, basic to aggressive aerobatics, providing versatility that beginners and experienced pilots will appreciate. Its practical size makes it easy to carry and is ideal for flying in larger parks, sports fields and airports. At the same time, it is large enough to be clearly visible and stable even in windy weather.
The model is constructed from durable EPO material, the model has LED navigation lights and wings with hands-free servo connections that can be quickly installed and removed without tools. A powerful drive system for popular 3S and 4S batteries with a capacity of 2200–3200 mAh allows for a wide range of performance. The ailerons, elevator and rudder are equipped with a total of four Spektrum digital servos with metal gears and ball joints on the forks, ensuring precise and reliable control. Thanks to its robustness, modern equipment and high versatility, the E-flite Sportix 1.1m is the perfect model for any pilot who wants to develop their skills and enjoy dynamic and safe aerobatics in any suitable place.
The PNP version allows the use of any RC kit (transmitter and receiver).
Skill Level 2 – Requires some experience
Skill level 2 aircraft such as this model are primarily suitable for RC pilots after simulator training who have successfully learned to fly with a training model and for those who have the skills to assemble, set up and fly models of a similar class. Although it is an excellent flying and stable model, the Sportix is not suitable as a first RC model for novice pilots with little flying experience. You should have experience and skills with models such as the HobbyZone AeroScout 1.1m, Carbon Cub 1.3m, or models such as the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m and other models of a similar class
Smart™ technology
The exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC provides a range of real-time telemetry data, including engine RPM, current draw, flight battery voltage and more, via a compatible Spektrum Smart receiver and compatible Spektrum transmitter equipped with Spektrum AirWare™ technology (DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 & 10, iX12, iX20 and more) during flight. In addition, you can use optional engine RPM reversal and reduce landing range (minimum 5-6+ channel transmitter required). Smart technologies are only available when using a compatible Spektrum RC kit. (RC kit not included.)
Plug-N-Play version
The Plug-N-Play (PNP) version comes with a factory-installed power system and servos ready to connect to a compatible receiver of your choice (sold separately), plus a transmitter and batteries you supply (also sold separately). Simply install the receiver, complete the final assembly, and you're ready to fly!
Performance and versatility
The factory-installed brushless drive includes a 45A Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC and a specially tuned motor that provides great thrust with a 3S 2200mAh LiPo battery or greater speed and nearly unlimited vertical power with a 4S 3200mAh battery.
Easy assembly
With no glue required for final assembly, you can have the Sportix 1.1m ready to fly in less time than any other plane! And while it's conveniently sized to fit fully assembled in a car, you can dismantle the two-piece wing for even easier storage and transport. Built-in wing locks and hands-free servo connection mean you can remove/install the wing almost instantly without the use of any tools or fasteners.
Durability and accuracy
The lightweight yet durable EPO airframe is reinforced with composite for added strength, and factory-installed digital servos with metal gears and ball-jointed forks provide crisp, precise control in every situation.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of flying RC models you need suitable adhesives, a tool kit and a case for storing LiPol batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). For assembly, Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy, and for cutting, Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 washer.
For quick repairs of aircraft models, we recommend a fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective covers for batteries
Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity while maintaining small dimensions and low weight. LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore need to be carefully protected.
