Package contents
The package includes a RC model of the Arcus II Night PNP glider with installed components: motor, controller, rudder servos, folding propeller in a 9x5 cone, LED lighting, V-cable, Velcro, multilingual manual in English, German, French and instructions in Czech.
Characteristics
RC glider model with auxiliary motor, ARCUS II Night PNP with span of 1.8m with electronics, drive (without receiver) and colored LED lighting. The model for beginners and advanced, for learning and fun, is compact, has a two-part wing and a powerful AC motor. A 4+ channel RC kit and LiPol battery 11.1V 1300mAh are recommended.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced pilot, the Arcus II Night is the right choice when looking for a powerful and compact electric powered glider. Despite the wingspan of 1.8 m, it can be easily transported thanks to the split wing. The model comes with four servos mounted for the ailerons, rudder and elevator as well as the drive mounted. Accessories included in the package include carbon reinforcements in the fuselage and wings, as well as a chassis and two plastic fuselage protectors.

Motor with folding propeller
The Arcus II has a 2830 1100KV AC motor and a 20A 2-3S LiPol regulator installed. Thanks to this powerful propulsion package, the Arcus II Night has enough power for a rapid climb to altitude, when the throttle is released, the propeller blades fold along the fuselage to reduce drag when gliding without the engine.
Removal cabin
There is enough space under the removal cabin for the controller, the drive battery and your receiver. A 4+channel RC set and a 3-cell LiPol battery (11.1V) are recommended.
Chassis wheel
A fixed wheel and a sliding plastic part are installed on the underside of the fuselage. This will prevent damage to the fuselage if it flips over at the tip during landing.
Hull spur
The tail surfaces are better protected from damage by a raised spur that is installed below the elevator.
Arcus II Night can optionally be retrofitted with discharge flaps. The large ailerons have a separation line already marked for separation as well as mounting points for the servo levers. The wings are equipped with cable channels for the servos. All you need is an available retrofit kit and two more servos of approx. 9 g, a suitable adhesive and, of course, a free channel on the remote control and receiver. Assembly is of course described in the illustrated building instructions.
We recommend to buy
We recommend purchasing a 4+ channel RC kit, a 1300mAh 3S LiPol battery and a charger.
Recommended batteries
We recommend a 3-cell (11.1 V) LiPol drive battery to power the model.
- For light weight Spektrum Smart LiPo 11.1V 1300mAh 30C IC3 with IC3 connector with Smart technology and balancer connector.
- For economy flying Spektrum Smart G2 LiPo 11.1V 2200mAh 30C IC3 with IC3 connector with Smart technology
Spektrum batteries with Smart technology currently represent the most modern and safest way to maintain and charge batteries. The benefits of Spektrum Smart technology can be found here.
Recommended Spektrum transmitters
To pair the BNF version model, we recommend modern SPEKTRUM programmable transmitters:
- 6-channel DX Spektrum DX6e DSMX series transmitter with telemetry, 250 models in memory .
- 6-channel transmitter of the NX Spektrum NX6 DSMX series with the latest trends, Smart Technology compatibility, USB port and WiFi connectivity .
- 8-channel transmitter of the NX Spektrum NX8 DSMX series with the latest trends, Smart Technology compatibility, USB port and WiFi connectivity .
Recommended chargers for conventional LiPol and Smart batteries
If you decide to use modern Smart LiPo batteries in RC model airplanes or helicopters , or charge your batteries from other manufacturers, then we recommend the following chargers:
- Network charger Spektrum S155 with one output 1x 55W .
- Network charger Spektrum S1100 with one output 1x 100W .
- Network charger Spektrum S2100 with one output 2x 100W .
- Network charger Spektrum S2200 with two outputs 2x 200W .
Accessories for normal operation
For the normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a set of tools and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our assortment, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy for assembly, and for cutting a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 pad.
For quick repair of model airplanes, we recommend the fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective covers for accumulators
Protective packaging is intended to limit the risk associated with the transport and charging of accumulators. LiPo accumulators, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity. The LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore needs to be thoroughly protected.
