The ARF kit comes with finished parts for the Hangar 9 Hawk/T-45 model. It also includes a complete electric retractable landing gear with tow hitch and electric brakes, a detailed cockpit with painted pilot busts, a double-walled stainless steel exhaust pipe, a composite fuel tank with magnetic filler and vent fittings, and assembly accessories. Instructions in CZ and a multilingual manual in EN, DE, FR, IT.
Characteristics
The Hangar 9 Hawk/T-45 RC model is a sports semi-scale model of a US Navy jet trainer fighter with a wingspan of 2.5m, designed for combustion turbines with a thrust of 140–160N , according to your choice. The finished, coated fuselage and wings have a wooden structure reinforced with carbon. Top-notch materials, workmanship and design will allow you to have an authentic predictable flight with excellent capabilities for performing advanced aerobatics. In addition to the engine, it is necessary to install electronics into the model - servos and a receiver, add a battery and a transmitter (these components are sold separately). The model, which will dazzle you with its appearance in the air and on the ground, contains a detailed cabin with busts of pilots and is made in the color of the VT-7 "Betsy Ross".

Since entering service in the late 1970s, the BAE Systems Hawk and its US Navy variant, the T-45 Goshawk, have trained generations of military pilots around the world. This model combines authentic lines with a lightweight and durable airframe made of balsa and carbon fiber reinforced plywood. All controls are included, including a 5.5 l composite fuel tank with aluminum magnetic filler and bleed fittings, double-walled stainless steel exhaust tips and mounting hardware. Large top hatches allow quick and easy access to the turbine, fuel system and electronics. Fans will appreciate the printed factory-applied upholstery with panel, hatch and rivet details. The detailed cockpit with clear windows hides pilot figures, molded seats and a 3D instrument panel.
The included Electric Landing Gear Retract Kit (HAN13785) features precision aluminum struts with a tow hitch and electric brakes that allow the Hawk to take off and land from paved surfaces and most grass runways. The retraction kit includes a control unit with adjustable brake force and a test function that allows retraction without a transmitter. A complete set of landing gear covers with mounting hardware and linkages is also included.

For easier transport and protection, the two-piece wing, elevator, rudder and lower stabilizers can be easily removed and stored safely in optional transport bags (bags sold separately, see recommended accessories). The aircraft is also ready to mount optional lighting (not included).

Ready for turbine
The RC aircraft fuselage is ready for installation of a modern combustion turbine with a thrust of 140-160N. For example, Kingtech (K-142 and K-160) and JetCat turbines are recommended.

Authentic "BETSY ROSS" coloring
The finished model parts are covered with printed PVC film that accurately replicates the real VT-7 aircraft named “Betsy Ross.” The cover is precisely cut, displaying sharp panel lines, rivet details, and provides high durability.
Fuel system
The 5.5 l composite fuel tank with aluminum magnetic filler and vent fittings and a double-walled stainless steel exhaust tip is ready for easier installation of the turbine supplied by you.

Electric chassis and brakes
The HAN13785 electric retractable landing gear kit (included in this version) includes precision aluminum legs with tow hitch, integrated electric brakes and a landing gear control unit with brake adjustments and a test button for cycling the landing gear without the need for transmitter adjustment.

Large top covers
Oversized, large top covers open easily without tools and provide access to the turbine compartment, electronics and batteries. Convenient access means quick wiring, troubleshooting and efficient field service procedures.

Modular system
For easier transport, the wings, elevator and lower stabilizers can be easily removed thanks to the push-on carbon tubes and quick-release fasteners. Optional storage bags (HAN1375018, HAN1375019) can be purchased for the model, which will make handling easier and provide extra protection.

Chassis covers
Chassis covers, all levers and mounting hardware are included, just add three standard size servos.

Ready for the lights
The airframe is ready for installation of lights (lights are not included in the package). When designing the model, the developers collaborated with, for example, UNI-Light. Headlights, navigation and strobe lights for the wings and fuselage can be added.

We recommend buying
The kit does not include electronics, turbine, cables and related accessories, so it is necessary to add at least a 16-channel RC kit, servos, batteries, combustion turbine, glue and assembly tools to get started. The model is intended for experienced modelers who can find and install the most suitable components for them. We recommend that you read the manual before assembling the accessories.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of flying RC models you need suitable adhesives, a tool kit and a storage case for LiPol batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). For assembly, Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy, and for cutting, Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 washer.
For quick repairs of aircraft models, we recommend a fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective covers for batteries
Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity while maintaining small dimensions and low weight. LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore need to be carefully protected.
