Characteristics
The Hangar 9 Viper RC model is a sports semi-scale model of a jet aerobatic aircraft with a wingspan of 2.1m, designed for a combustion turbine with 100N thrust, of your choice. The finished, coated fuselage and wings have a rigid construction made of balsa and plywood reinforced with carbon. The Viper 100N Turbine Jet is the perfect choice for experienced pilots who are moving up to giant turbine-powered models for the first time, as well as for seasoned RC jet pilots who are looking for a top-of-the-line model with excellent handling, excellent speed and aerobatic performance. In addition to the engine, it is necessary to install electronics into the model - servos and a receiver, add a battery and a transmitter (these components are sold separately). The model will delight you with its distinctive design cover, detailed cockpit with clear cover, 3D instrument panels and pilot figure.

Hangar 9 Viper 2.1m 100N Turbine Jet ARF is based on the real ViperJet, which is a modern two-seat sport jet aircraft designed by the American company Viper Aircraft Corporation. The aircraft was created as a lightweight and more affordable jet special designed for sport flying, aerobatics, pilot training and performances at air shows. The package includes all controls, including a fuel tank, double-walled stainless steel exhaust tips and mounting material. Large top hatches allow quick and easy access to the turbine, fuel system and electronics.

The included electric landing gear retraction kit (HAN-3625ER) features precision aluminum struts with a tow hitch and electric brakes that allow the Viper to take off and land from paved surfaces and most grass runways. The retraction kit includes a control unit with adjustable brake force and a test function that allows retraction without a transmitter. A complete set of landing gear covers with mounting hardware and rods is also included.
For easier transport and protection, the two-piece wing, elevator, rudder and lower stabilizers can be easily removed and stored safely in optional transport bags (bags sold separately, see recommended accessories). The aircraft is equipped with LED navigation and landing lights.

Skill Level 4 – Requires Advanced Experience
Skill Level 4 aircraft, such as this model, are primarily suitable for advanced RC pilots who already have the experience and skills to assemble, set up and fly models of a similar class. These aircraft require not only more experience with flying, but also with assembling and selecting suitable components. You should have experience with models such as the E-flite Viper 90mm EDF, Hangar 9 Aermacchi MB-339 60-86N Turbine J or other similar models.

ARF version
The ARF version model is delivered with almost finished parts. Individual parts must be equipped with drive, electronics and complete installation.

Lightweight construction
Laser-cut parts made of lightweight balsa and plywood are reinforced with carbon. The parts are factory-coated with a durable printed foil.

Ready for turbine
The RC aircraft fuselage is ready for the installation of a modern combustion turbine with a thrust of 100N. For example, a turbine from the Kingtech (K-102G4+) and JetCat brands is recommended. (Installing a larger turbine is not recommended due to the high residual thrust at idle, which makes landing difficult.)

Large top covers
Oversized large top covers are easy to open without tools and allow access to the turbine compartment, electronics and batteries. Convenient access means quick connection, troubleshooting and efficient service procedures in the field.

Modular system
For easier transport, the two-piece wing, elevator and lower stabilizers can be easily dismantled, thanks to the slide-on carbon tubes and quick-release fasteners. Optional storage bags (HAN-362517, HAN-362518) can be purchased for the model, which will facilitate handling and provide extra protection.

Electric landing gear and brakes
The HAN-3625ER electric retractable landing gear set (included in this version) includes precision aluminum legs with tow hitch, integrated electric brakes and a landing gear control unit with brake adjustment and a test button for cycling the landing gear without the need for transmitter adjustment.

Landing covers
Optional landing gear covers, all levers and mounting material. Chassis covers will give the model a final clean look.

We recommend buying
The kit is without electronics, turbine, cables and related accessories, therefore, it is necessary to add at least a 10-channel RC kit, servos, batteries, combustion turbine, glue and mounting tools for commissioning. The model is intended for experienced modelers who can find and install the most suitable components for them. We recommend that you read the manual for completing the accessories.

Accessories for normal operation
For normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a tool kit and a LiPol storage bag batteries. From our range we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). For assembly, Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy, and for cutting, Modelcraft cutting knife with A6 washer.
For quick repairs of aircraft models, we recommend fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g
Protective packaging for batteries
Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with the transportation and charging of batteries. LiPo batteries can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity while maintaining small dimensions and low weight. LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore need to be thoroughly protected.
