USB interface - KAVAN GO-10xx series programmer. Thanks to the use of a computer monitor as a user interface, you have a tool for programming and testing with comfortable operation. During programming, the servo is powered from the USB port of the computer to which the programmer is connected. All parameters are first set in a window on the screen and then uploaded to your servo. You can find the utility in the "Downloads" section.
System requirements for using the programmer
- Power supply: USB (5 V / 500 mA)
- Operating system: Windows® XP / Vista / 7/8/10 (32 / 64bit)
- USB port: USB 2.0
- Compatible servos: KAVAN series GO-10xx
Programmable functions
- Deflection Size: Sets the maximum servo deflection size. The default setting is about 120 ° at the normal range of control pulse widths (900 ~ 2100 µs); approx. 180 ° at the maximum permitted range of control pulse widths (500 ~ 2500 µs).
- Servo Neutral: Used to set the neutral (center) position of the servo.
- Damping: Sets the behavior characteristics of the servo when stopping its movement.
- Output Power: Sets the servo output power. The higher the value, the faster the servo and the higher the thrust - of course, the current consumption will be proportionally higher. Range: 39.2 ~ 100%
- Sensitivity: Sets the sensitivity (bandwidth) of the servo. The higher the value, the narrower the deadband - the servo only moves if the control signal width change is greater than the deadband width. A sensitivity value set too high can cause servo oscillation in some applications. Range: Ultra High (extra high - dead band approx. 1 µs) - High (High - approx. 2 µs) - Medium (medium - approx. 3 µs) - Low (Low - approx. 4 µs)
- Soft Start: Turns the soft start function on / off. This function prevents the servo from suddenly moving to the operating position after switching on its power supply, thus reducing the risk of damage to its gears. / li>
- Reversing the sense of deviations: Reverses the sense of servo deviations.
- FUTABA SR mode: Only for servo use with FUTABA RC kit channels operating in SR mode. Do not enable this option if you use different settings in the FUTABA RC Kit or any other brand's RC Kit.
- SANWA SSR mode: For servo use only with SANWA RC kit channels operating in SSR mode. Do not enable this option if you are using different settings in the SANWA RC Kit or any other brand's RC Kit.
- Fail-safe deviations: In case of complete loss of the control signal from the receiver or if the servo signal cannot detect correctly (eg for interference), the servo can switch to one of three emergency modes:
- (a) Free: Fail-safe is off.
- (b) Position maintenance: the servo maintains the position corresponding to the last correctly received signal.
- (c) Transition to neutral: The servo returns to the neutral (pulse width 1500 µs) position.
- Overload protection: Enables or disables servo overload protection in three levels - as soon as the overload lasts for a preset time (in seconds), the servo output power is limited to the corresponding preset value (in% of max. Power).
- Reset: Resets the connected servo to the factory default settings.
