Super strong and super fast programmable steel geared digital micro servo with output shaft mounted on two ball bearings for use in RC models of all types. With a flat 12mm high box, it is particularly suitable for controlling ailerons and flaps in fast RC glider/hotliner models with thinner airfoils. For perfect cooling even under heavy load, the servo is housed in an aluminum box.
With the help of the USB programmer/interface for GO servos and the operating PC program, you can program a whole range of servo parameters (magnitude of deflections, sense of neutral deflections, overload protection, soft start, fail-safe, etc.).
Programmable functions
- Deflection size: Used to set the maximum size of servo deflections. The default setting is approx. 120° at the normal range of control pulse widths (900~2100 µs); approx. 180° at the maximum allowed range of control pulse width (500~2500 µs).
- Servo neutral: Used to set the neutral (center) position of the servo.
- Damping: Sets the characteristic of the behavior of the servo when stopping its movement.
- Output power: Sets the output power of the servo. The higher the value, the faster the servo and has more thrust - of course, the current draw will be proportionally higher. Range: 39.2~100%
- Sensitivity: Sets the sensitivity (width of the dead band) of the servo. The higher the value, the narrower the dead band - the servo will only move if the change in the width of the control signal is greater than the dead band width. A set sensitivity value that is too high may cause the servo to oscillate in some applications. Range: Ultra High (Extra high – dead band approx. 1 µs) – High (High – approx. 2 µs) – Medium (Medium – approx. 3 µs) – Low (Low – approx. 4 µs)
- Soft start: Enables/disables the soft start function. This function prevents the servo from suddenly moving into the operating position after switching on its power and thus limits the risk of damage to its gears.
- Reverse direction of deflections: Reverses the direction of servo deflections.
- FUTABA SR Mode: Only for servo use with FUTABA RC kit channels working in SR mode. Do not turn this option on if you are using a different setup of the FUTABA RC Kit or any other brand RC Kit.
- SANWA SSR Mode: Only for servo use with SANWA RC kit channels operating in SSR mode. Do not turn this option on if you are using a different setting of a SANWA RC kit or any other brand RC kit.
- Fail-safe emergency deviations: In the event of complete loss of the control signal from the receiver or if the servo cannot detect the signal correctly (e.g. due to interference), the servo can go into one of three fail-safe modes:
- (a) Free: Fail-safe is disabled.
- (b) Position hold: the servo maintains the position corresponding to the last correctly received signal.
- (c) Transition to neutral: The servo returns to the neutral (pulse width 1500 µs) position.
- Overload protection: Enables or disables the servo overload protection in three levels - once the overload lasts for a preset time (in seconds), the output power of the servo is limited to the corresponding preset value (in % of max power).
- Reset: Restores the factory default settings of the connected servo.
Extended supply voltage 4.8-7.4 V (nominal).
4.94mm output shaft with 25-tooth helix.
