    Kit CRX 2.1

    Compared to the CRX 2, this new version features new driveshafts that are much more durable than previous models and specific wheel arches depending on the body style chosen.

    Introducing the CRX 2 platform

    After the success of the first version of the CRX, Hobbytech decided to develop a new chassis that would have even better driving characteristics and remain just as realistic. Based on experience in the field of expeditions, they designed a modern machine that meets the expectations of the most demanding modelers. Today, the CRX 2 is an advanced and respected platform.

    The partitions have a realistic design. The transmission is equipped with an anti-torque twist function. To optimize the angle of rotation of the wheels, it contains a steering weight with an Ackerman angle of 0° (the wheels remain parallel when turning).

    The CRX 2 model is equipped with aluminum dampers with internal springs. They ensure a high degree of realism and, above all, excellent driving characteristics. Depending on the position of the springs, a droop or semi-droop setting can be achieved. The car's center of gravity is low and at the same time allows the wheels to drop to obtain the necessary grip.

    If your custom setup requires it, a PANHARD bar can be added to the axle pivots.

    By adjusting the lengths of tie rods and mounting points on the chassis, you can change the wheelbase of the chassis.

    Required for commissioning:

    • Body with a 313mm wheelbase (or another if you change the wheelbase).
    • AC combo (recommended: KN-40-540-1800-FUS for 2S operation and KN-40-540-1200-FUS for 3S operation), or DC (recommended controller and motor: KN-BRUSH40-CRAWBT and KN-M5540- 55T).
    • Servo (recommended: KN-2113LVWP)
    • Tires and rims (recommended: Climber tires and rims)
    • Battery (recommended: KN-LP2S5600 or 3S: KN-LP3S5200BASH-XT)
    • Charger (recommended: KN-MULTI100-PLUS)
    • Radio and receiver (recommended: KT3X with receiver or programmable radio such as Konect X9S)
