The goal of the Javelin chassis design was to create a "machine that redefines what it means to be the best." More than 30 years after its release in 1986, this off-road racing model has been re-created as the sixth model in the Kyosho Vintage range.

Thanks to a new body made of resin frame resembling an innovative body made of aluminum tubes used for 1/8 Land Bug combustion buggies . The new Javelin features high-quality suspension and a narrow chassis frame.

This is combined with the state-of-the-art 4WD Javelin chain drive system, which ensures excellent performance and durability. All elements represent a true picture of the original 30 years ago, and at the same time this version of the Vintage series is full of modern racing performance and is compatible with modern energy sources.

The heart of the drive system is a sliding clutch and a gearbox made of metal to increase its strength. By using 48-speed transmission modules, it reduces energy losses and the optimal combination of nylon and metal brings improved driving efficiency and reduced noise. In addition to the chain drive, the drive system can also be changed to a belt drive, which was optional on the original model.

Also, larger diameter shock absorbers created according to the original design and combined with a long stroke provide increased performance.

Rediscover the joy of off-road buggy racing with the latest racing technology and the nostalgic "Javelin" style.

    •         Each part has been improved to match the performance of modern machines, but to preserve Javelin's unique insight.
    •         The rear wing has been modified to generate more downforce. Nuts for attaching the wing have been integrated into the wing holder. By integrating the nuts, the fastening is safer.
    •         Like the original Javelin, white, pastel green and fluorescent yellow body cage are available. Red and black are planned.
    •         The metal part, which is in the front of the cage, is now firmly bolted and strengthens the body.
    •         Simple but very strong metal chassis frame.
    •         It is possible to choose from two types of drive. You choose a chain drive that shook the world at the time of launch, or you choose a belt drive that was developed later as a possible variant.
    •         Solid discs are a replica of the original stylish discs, but provide reduced weight.
    •         The car is fully equipped with ball bearings.
    •         Hexagon screws, ensure simple and fast screwing.
    •         The velcro battery holder (including battery straps printed with the Kyosho logo) is compatible with various batteries and allows easy installation and removal.

Frame nylon .gamma.CH pipes and aluminum roof forms a highly rigid structure. It contains a large bumper similar to the original design and a mini bumper suitable for racing.

Equipped with a choice of two drive systems. The original 1986 version used a chain drive with an optional belt drive sold separately. Both are standard on this version of the Vintage Series.

The gearbox is equipped with a slip clutch that protects the propulsion system from sudden load changes such as jumps and landings. Thanks to simple modifications, it can react to various surface conditions.

The main chassis is made of 6061T6 aluminum alloy to provide corrosion resistance and increased strength. Countersunk screws and threads in the frame provide a better finish and reduce the number of nuts used .

While faithfully copying the original 1986 design, the new version's oil dampers increase performance potential. Stainless steel shafts on the front and rear shock absorbers and aluminum bodies with an outer diameter increased from 10 mm to 12 mm are used.

While the tires remain true to Javelin's original design, they have more pins and a revised compound to ensure greater grip. They also have chrome discs, which are also lighter than the originals.
