The E-flite Micro Radian is a small motorized glider that is equipped with AS3X stabilization, so it can minimize the effects of turbulence in flight, so it can be flown outdoors even in mild winds. Optional SAFE® Select technology can also be used and also offers real-time battery voltage telemetry when paired with a compatible transmitter! The model has a span of 730 mm, powered by a motor with a gearbox and a tilting propeller and a single-cell LiPol battery 3.7 V 150 mAh.
An important helper when flying is the integrated stabilization system AS3X, thanks to which the flight is more stable and smoother. Using fast-acting rudders to change the direction of flight, the correction is very fast without being visible from the ground. Therefore, the model seems to react similarly to the much larger model, and its flight is calm without maintaining its full controllability. The model excels in calm slow flight, it is unmistakable and easy to control, you can fly with it outside at rest and in the hall. It can be recommended for beginners and advanced.
The electronics of the receiver are equipped with electronic stabilization AS3X , which offers the highest level of accuracy and stabilization in flight. It is a completely new flight experience thanks to the latest technology, which can guide the model straight like a cord. Based on information from the 3-axis gyroscope, the microprocessor constantly maintains the position of the aircraft using the ailerons, rudder and elevator in the same orientation until you instruct the transmitter to change the position of the model.
If you are not a very experienced pilot or want to have a higher level of safety, or first get to know the model safely, you can activate the optional SAFE Select technology, which is integrated in the receiver. No programming is required, simply pair the receiver with or without SAFE, and if you select SAFE, you can set a switch according to the instructions that can be used to turn the function on and off. The SAFE function secures the flight envelope by limiting the extreme flight limits of bank and roll. Electronic stability is also active, when the control levers of the transmitter are returned to neutral, the model is leveled in horizontal flight.
Buy versions of Bind-N-Fly sets (pair and fly) and save yourself with a lot of time with equipping incomplete models. You will have a model with installed electronics, ie motor, servos and installed Spektrum ™ 2.4 GHz receiver, so all you need to do is pair the receiver with a compatible Spektrum DSMX® / DSM2® transmitter (sold separately), connect charged battery (sold separately) and fly!
Micro Radian is equipped with exclusive Spektrum-AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. The AS3X is a 3-axis gyroscope that works behind the scenes and eliminates the effects of wind and turbulence, making it appear that you are flying a larger aircraft. The optional use of SAFE Select offers tilt and tilt limits along with automatic self-leveling, which can be switched on and off by simply switching the switch! And if you don't want to enable the SAFE Select function, simply pair the receiver normally and only AS3X stabilization will be active.
The UMX ™ Radian® is equipped with a control unit that includes two linear servos, a receiver and a Spektrum ™ controller, which provides real-time battery voltage telemetry to compatible transmitters equipped with Spektrum AirWare včetně (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2 / G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others) during the flight.
The UMX-Radian® fuselage is equipped with a DC motor, gearbox and efficient tilting propeller, which provides excellent climb performance and long flight times of up to 10-20 + minutes depending on the flight style - on and off when used with LiPol 1S 150-200mAh battery .
The UMX-Radian® comes with finished parts and is ready to fly. Simply install the one-piece wing with a few screws, insert a charged battery, connect it to a compatible Spektrum transmitter ™ and you're ready to go!
The construction made of pressed EPS material has a light but at the same time durable kite. In the event of an accident, if you damage any components and cannot be repaired, a number of spare parts are available.
The Mikro Radian has a removal wing, which is secured against sliding out with two screws. The controller has a brake that allows the propeller to tilt during gliding flight. Recommended (not included in the package) is a 3.7 V 150 - 200 mAh LiPol battery with charger.
We recommend purchasing at least a 4-channel transmitter with Spektrum DSM2 or DSMX modulation. We also recommend purchasing a spare LiPol battery - see recommended accessories.
