Advantage of the Bind-N-Fly version

Already own a Spektrum aerial transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) RC model airplanes allow quick preparation for flight with the best possible control experience. The model is completely assembled with the drive, servos and Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver installed. Therefore, you only need to pair the receiver with your compatible transmitter, charge your battery, and then you can take off with the model!

Exclusive technology

UMX Conscendo is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. The AS3X is a 3-axis gyroscope that works behind the scenes to eliminate the effects of wind and turbulence, making it seem like you're flying a bigger plane. Optional use of SAFE Select offers grade and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off with the flip of a switch! And if you don't want to enable SAFE Select features, simply pair the receiver normally and only AS3X stabilization will be active.

Telemetry option

The UMX Conscendo features a controller that includes linear servos, a receiver, and a Spektrum™ controller that provides real-time battery voltage telemetry to compatible Spektrum AirWare™-equipped transmitters (including DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2 / G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and more) during flight.

High performance of the drive unit

The AC motor and controller allow the use of both 2-cell and 3-cell LiPol batteries, which expands the model's possibilities for greater speed and unlimited vertical performance when flying with 3S 280-300mAh LiPol batteries.

Unique abilities

The construction of the model's airframe is made of a composite of reinforced EPS material, therefore it is light, rigid and durable. This means that the UMX Conscendo can handle high-speed flight and high-energy aerobatics. Still, it is light enough to be flown as a glider in gliding flight, so it has long flight times of over 15 minutes in a combination of on and off engine flying. You can optionally set the ailerons to flap function, which will change the curvature of the airfoil and thereby change the flight characteristics for thermal flight, fast flight or flaps for landing.

Fully assembled model parts

The UMX Conscendo set contains fully equipped parts, ready to assemble right out of the box. Simply mount the one-piece wing with a bayonet screw, install your own charged battery, connect it to your DSMX/DSM2-equipped 5+ channel Spektrum transmitter, and you're ready to go.

Building the model

The package includes a complete fuselage with electronics and installed tail surfaces and a wing with installed servos and cables. Just connect the connectors and attach the wing to the fuselage with one bayonet locking mechanism. You don't even need a screwdriver, you can secure it with your fingers.

Wing servos

The wing has two linear servos installed, each rudder has a separate servo. The tie rods are equipped with ball pins that work without backlash and therefore ensure precise steering.

AS3X™ stabilization

The Spektrum receiver is equipped with AS3X technology, which helps stabilize the model in flight. The receiver contains a three-axis MEMS gyro and an accelerometer, and thanks to electronic stabilization , model control is simplified , e.g. in windy weather. The model reacts similarly to a much larger model and its flight is calm without maintaining its full controllability. AS3X brings more confidence in driving.

SAFE Select™ technology for beginners

Thanks to the SAFE Select technology used, the model can be driven even by a less experienced pilot . The SAFE system prevents oversteer when cornering and also limits climbs and descents. Simply releasing the controller's control sticks will return the model to level flight. These functions will be especially appreciated by novice pilots who are not yet fully confident in driving the models.

As the name SAFE Select itself suggests, it is an optional feature - it is up to you whether you want to use or disable SAFE technology. The pairing method determines whether the SAFE function should be turned on or off. It is also possible to turn off or turn on the SAFE function and the flight mode using a free channel of the transmitter.

Advantages of the SAFE Select™ function:
