LiPol Spektrum Smart batteries keep a log of errors, including the number of cases of overheating, over-discharging and over-charging, which can be useful in determining whether the battery has been correctly selected for the application. The smart battery loads its charging parameters into the Spectrum Smart Charger automatically so that charging is as easy as pressing the "Start" button. The charging speed of the Smart battery is customizable, allowing you to take full advantage of the set with faster charging values.
SMART Spectrum technology
After connecting the charger to the Spektrum Smart battery, the parameters and status of the LiPol battery are read from the Smart Memory microchip integrated in the battery. The battery settings can be seen on the LCD display via the charger, so all you need to do to charge the battery is press the "Start" button. Smart technology will take care of the rest. Each Smart LiPol charger is equipped with a new generation IC3 výstup output connector, which has an integrated pin for data transfer from the battery, on the LCD display.

The integrated microchip allows the Smart Battery to store important information such as battery brand, type, number of cells, capacity, number of charge cycles, number of discharges, capacity rating, battery temperature and internal resistance. New IC3 and IC5 connectors
Innovative connection of devices with Smart function is done using an installed microchip on each Smart battery and information is transmitted via a data cable, which is part of the new connectors IC3 and IC5. SMART parking voltage setting
When programmed with the Spektrum Smart charger, the Smart batteries are automatically set to a predetermined parking voltage, where they are allowed to rest for the time you choose, between 12 and 240 hours.
