Plug-N-Play Version

The Plug-N-Play (PNP) version comes with a factory-installed power system and servos that are ready to connect to a compatible receiver of your choice (sold separately), plus a transmitter and batteries that you supply (also sold separately). Simply install the receiver, complete the final assembly, and fly!

Smart™ Technology

The exclusive Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart controller provides a range of real-time telemetry data, including engine RPM, current draw, flight battery voltage, and more, via a Smart receiver (not included) and a compatible Spektrum transmitter (not included) equipped with Spektrum AirWare™ technology (DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and more).

High Power

The factory-installed propulsion system includes a 50mm blower with a powerful brushless motor and a 30A controller. When powered by a 3S LiPo battery, this configuration provides enough thrust for normal flying. When using a 4S LiPo battery, you get more power, speed and vertical thrust for aerobatic stunts!

Excellent handling

Jet planes are usually faster, have less time to react, and are harder to fly than propeller-driven ones. Thanks to the unique optimized design, the low-speed controllability and performance have been further improved, making the Habu SS one of the easiest to control RC EDF aircraft models!

Design and capabilities

The lightweight but durable airframe made of EPO material reinforced with composite elements is newly equipped with a reinforced carbon wing connector and elevator reinforcement. The model is finished in a distinctive color scheme from the factory, ensuring excellent orientation in flight. Unlike similar models, it is equipped with a functional and enlarged rudder, which improves maneuverability and expands aerobatic capabilities.

Gearbox options

You can use the included fixed gear with a steerable nose wheel for taxiing, takeoff and landing on a smooth surface. Or you can remove the landing gear and take off with a hand throw and end up landing on the grass.

Quick assembly

The Habu SS 50mm EDF airplane is almost fully factory assembled out of the box! Simply install the elevator and one-piece wing. The 3-4S LiPo 1300-2200 mAh IC3/EC3 battery (sold separately) can be easily inserted into the compartment through the large top cover.

Recommended batteries

To power the model, we recommend a 3- or 4-cell LiPo battery (11.1 V, 14.8 V).

Spektrum batteries with Smart technology currently represent the most modern and safest way to maintain and charge batteries. The benefits of Spektrum Smart technology can be found here.

Smart G2 batteries are even simpler and safer, thanks to the absence of a balance connector. G2 batteries also have up to 3x faster automatic discharge to storage mode. Smart G2 batteries can only be charged with Spektrum Smart chargers.

If you decide to use modern Smart LiPo batteries in RC model airplanes or helicopters, or charge your batteries from other manufacturers, then we recommend these chargers:

Accessories for normal operation

For normal operation of flying RC models, you need suitable adhesives, a tool kit and a storage bag for LiPol batteries. From our range, we recommend a quality set of 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0mm Allen screwdrivers and Modelcraft Phillips screwdrivers (set of 6). For assembly, Modelcraft mini pliers in a case (set) will certainly come in handy, and for cutting, a Modelcraft cutting knife with an A6 washer.

For quick repairs of aircraft models, we recommend fast-curing 4-minute Epoxy glue. From our offer, we recommend Speed Epoxy 4 min. 71g

Protective packaging for batteries

Protective packaging is designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity while maintaining small dimensions and low weight. LiPo batteries are particularly susceptible to mechanical damage and therefore need to be thoroughly protected.
