FIXED COMPOSITE CHASSIS

Features that contribute to the unstoppable performance of the 4X4 3S BLX platform include stronger composite chassis and aluminum pivot retaining plates. The chassis design is arranged in a proven component layout to achieve perfect balance. Drive shaft in the middle, battery on one side and electronics on the other. In addition, the entire chassis is equipped with higher side covers, which limit the ingress of dirt into the chassis. The battery is firmly seated in place using straps.

MODULAR CONCEPT

VORTEKS ™ 4X4 3S BLX Stadium Truck RTR features the convenient ARRMA® modular concept. With easy-to-remove engine, electronics and differential modules, routine maintenance is quick and easy. The engine module is removed from the chassis as a complete unit, removing one bolt. The electronics module consists of a waterproof receiver box, servo board and controller holder. After removing the engine module, it is easy to reach the slip clutch and perform maintenance by unscrewing the three screws that secure the transmission cover.

ELECTRONICS MODULE

The electronics module consists of a waterproof receiver box, servo board and controller holder. The unit is dismantled from the chassis and is available for maintenance and service needs.

DIFFERENTIAL MODULE

Arrma Vorteks 3S BLX is equipped with front and rear differential, which ensures maximum traction. The differentials are equipped with high-quality metal gears for trouble-free operation. To loosen the front and rear differentials, only eight bolts need be removed. The drive module can then be disconnected, allowing you to remove the gearboxes and gain access to the differential / p>

DISCS AND TIRES

Robust, multi-spoke discs with dBoots® Qatar tires namont are mounted on durable nylon discs in Gun Metal. The tires provide aggressive grip and easy handling in all conditions and are made of high quality rubber for long life.

STADIUM TRUCK BODYWORK

The elegant body of the Stadium Truck is equipped with a rigid injection-molded rear pressure wing and protective roof rails. The bodies are available in three elegant color combinations. The front and rear bumpers protect the body from impacts, and the wheelie support wheels provide support for stunts when riding the rear wheels.

ELECTRONICS SPECTRUM ™

VORTEKS ™ Stadium Truck, the first ARRMA® 4WD car in 1:10 scale, includes RC Spectrum equipment with telemetry and Smart Technology and AVC® traction control for extra driving stability. AVC®, you can adjust the required level of driving stability as needed without having to interrupt the ride. Thanks to this, you have a high feeling of safety when driving at full throttle on uneven terrain, slippery surfaces or asphalt.

OIL-FILLED SHOCK ABSORBERS

Patented oil dampers absorb every impact of the model. The shock absorbers are equipped with impact protection covers on the front. Stiffness and ground clearance can be changed with oil viscosity or spacers. silicone O-rings are used to safely retain the oil.

AC regulator SPEKTRUM ™ COMPANY ™ 100A SMART 2S-3S

The model is controlled by a modern SPEKTRUM-COMPANY-100A SMART controller with a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller, which is able to read complete telemetry and transmit it to the receiver using an integrated wire in the new IC5 connector. Data is transmitted via the SRXL2 protocol. The controller reads information about the type, temperature and voltage of the battery cells directly from the Smart battery. Real-time current, temperature, total Smart battery voltage, voltage of individual Smart battery cells, Smart battery temperature, remaining capacity and motor speed are available.

The electronics are completely encapsulated in a special potting compound, which prevents the entry of moisture * or dirt into the electronics. The controller is switched on and set with the buttons under the rubber cover.

SR6200A receiver

6-channel RC receiver Spektrum SR6200A with DSM2 / DSMR modulation. It has excellent range and response, especially in places where there are multiple systems operating in the 2.4 GHz band. The receiver is equipped with the patented Spectrum AVC (Active Vehicle Control) system and full telemetry range. The receiver supports Spektrum Smart technology.

Digital servo control Spectrum MS SPMS651 MG

The new Spectrum S651 7kg MG MG servo has 15% more torque than the previous ADS-7M servo. It is waterproof, has metal gears and a torque of 7.27 kg.cm at 6V.

RC transmitter Spectrum DX3 2.4GHz DSMR

The new RC transmitter Spektrum DX3 has 3 channels and is compatible with the Spektrum AVC stabilization system and Spektrum Smart telemetry. SMART Spectrum technology

The model is equipped with components with Spektrum Smart technology, which offers more information about the model, easier operation and battery care. All SMART components, including batteries, are able to communicate and transmit telemetry / b>

The included DX3 transmitter shows the charge status of the Smart battery in the model.

As tuning you can display complete telemetry ( speed, speed, temperature and more ):

• By adding a BT module to the DX3 set transmitter, which will enable the connection of the model with a clear graphic application Spektrum Dashboard in the phone or tablet.
• Using a universal Spectrum transmitter with display, eg DX5C.

Active Vehicle Control (AVC) technology

AVC technology is an advanced Spectrum technology from Horizon Hobby, for RC car models. This stabilization system brings a completely new way of driving RC cars. AVC technology uses sensors to control steering and throttle at the same time. Thanks to appropriate interventions in the steering and engine power, the result is a smoother ride, stable behavior on level ground and in corners and safer tracking. Of course, the variable sensitivity of the steering, including the ability to turn it off and leave everything in the hands of the rider.

Recommended LiPo batteries

The model can be operated on a 2 to 3 cell LiPo battery or a 7 cell NiMH battery. The battery should be equipped with an EC5 or IC5 connector. For normal riding, we recommend a 2-cell LiPo battery (7.4 IN).

• For normal riding LiPo battery Spectrum 7.4 V 5000 mAh with Smart technology.
• For the maximum possible speed of LiPo battery Black Magic LiPo 11.1 V 5000 mAh.
• For the maximum possible speed LiPo battery Spectrum LiPo 11.1 V 5000 mAh with Smart technology.

Spektrum batteries with Smart technology are currently the most modern and safest way to maintain and charge batteries. You can find the advantages of Spektrum Smart technology here.

Recommended NiMH batteries

NiMH batteries are not difficult to handle and are therefore suitable if the RC model car is operated by children (NiMH batteries will not be destroyed by complete discharge). However, NiMH batteries have a lower capacity, so driving time will be slightly shorter.

Recommended chargers for conventional and Smart batteries

If you decide to use modern Smart LiPo batteries in the RC model of the Arrma car, then we recommend this charger:

• Charger with mains power supply Spektrum S150 with one 1x50W output.
• Mains charger Spektrum S1100 with one 1x100W output.
• Mains charger Spektrum S2100 with two outputs 2x 100 W.

To connect the battery to these chargers, you need an IC5 / IC3 charging adapter.

• High-performance mains charger Spektrum Smart G2 charger S1400 1x400W AC with one 400W output.
• High-performance mains charger Spektrum Smart G2 charger S2200 2x200W AC with two 2x200W outputs.

Accessories for normal operation

For normal RC car operation, you need tire glue, bolt glue, a tool kit and silicone shock absorber oil. From our range we recommend an affordable set of tools for RC cars.

The tire glue adheres the tires to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tire is firmly glued to the wheel rim around the entire circumference! If the tire is not stuck around the entire circumference, it may rupture. The tire adhesive has a special composition that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, and at the same time the adhesive is flexible after hardening. We recommend Robitronic Tire Glue from our offer - see recommended accessories.

Sometimes it is necessary to add silicone oil to the model's shock absorbers and change the oil in the differentials. During normal operation, there is only a slight leakage of silicone oil along the shock absorber piston rods. If the damper piston rod surface or seal condition is in poor condition, the oil leak may be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. Screw glue is required for routine maintenance. Screws screwed into the metal material (eg screws in the motor, set screw in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this adhesive.

Protective covers for batteries

Protective covers are designed to reduce the risk associated with transporting and charging batteries. LiPo batteries can, while maintaining small dimensions and low weight, provide high discharge currents and have a large capacity for long travel times. On the contrary, the LiPo battery is particularly susceptible to mechanical damage.
