Spektrum has taken advantage of years of customer feedback on the AS3000 and purpose-built Synapse with turbine aircraft and giant scale models in mind. Its lightweight design and innovative features make it the ideal choice for pilots who need the best flight stabilization in today's complex model world.

With Synapse you have the ability to customize the AS3X+ and SAFE functions with 20 configurable channels for a variety of flight control modes. This allows pilots to fine tune their aircraft model. Additionally, support for configuring auxiliary outputs is available, meaning you can now stabilize outputs associated with mixers or other outputs that are separate from your traditional wing types. For example, if you had flaps that were set to become ailerons with the mixer at the flip of a switch, you can now set these functions to have stabilization assigned to them.

Support for multiple gyro systems within a single device has been added. This provides the equivalent functionality of operating multiple gyro systems or flight controllers within a single system, allowing you to add stabilization to unique outputs such as thrust vectoring or canards without having to purchase an additional gyro. Changes have also been made to the gyro filtering to improve response time. This has allowed for a substantial doubling of the efficiency of the gains in some cases. Ultimately, this helps further increase the stability of the model aircraft in turbulence or wind.

A significant improvement is how the heading hold mode works. Now the transitions between user inputs and heading hold are smoother, providing a more natural feel during flight. With Synapse, the sensor in the Synapse is isolated to dampen the acoustic interference that can occur with some turbines. The electronics are in a solid aluminum housing with three mounting points to dampen vibrations. When paired with the new compatible Spektrum PowerSafe receivers (AR10410T, AR14410T and AR20410T), this is an incredible combination of advanced stabilization and cutting-edge electronics.

For giant and turbine aircraft

The system algorithm has been significantly improved to operate flawlessly in a noisy turbine environment and up to 20 stabilized outputs are available.

SAFE technology

With the Synapse module, you have access to SAFE technology with the flip of a switch, which could save your model. SAFE has saved thousands of aircraft and can potentially save yours. SAFE can bring your model into level flight when it loses its bearings or other unexpected events. It is also possible to set the maximum tilt of the model and other options.

Aluminum case

The Synapse housing is made of machined aluminum with three solid grommets for easy installation into most aircraft.

Noise and vibration insulation

The Synapse gyro sensor is encapsulated in isolation to reduce noise and vibration in turbine aircraft. While other systems require additional damping, Spektrum has designed the Synapse module to function flawlessly in most applications.

Cable with latch

Connecting the module to the receiver is extremely safe thanks to the latch connector that cannot be released by itself.
